@@UnlockPsychology what would you suggest because college exposure aslo matters ,I can get shyama Prasad Mukherjee of du college in psychology hons and on other side in ba program I have chances of JMC , Indraprastha
@@anshikajain9204 Hi.. i think i can answer this well because i went through the same situation. I got BA Program is top colleges but I refused it and i have taken APPLIED psychology Honours in DU. Won't tell my college name because of security reasons. `And trust me when i say this, Honours in psychology gives you an upper hand in your CV when you go for internships and you learn a lot more indepth because honours means a specialization. You wont regret taking honours. When you do your masters also, you will have a lot of knowledge in the field. Its COMPREHENSIVE COURSE! Hope this helps:)
@@mithim6889 hey ik this is 7 months later but what do you think is better a govt college or a pvt one? Also theres a college near me which is a rural medical college and offers BSC in psychology, do you think that would be a better option because i would get some exposure through rural patients as well?
@@convertible2987 Honestly speaking, i would say please go for a government college or a college which is affiliated to a government university if you are getting an opportunity. What matters is that your university is a government university. I had worked very hard in my 12th because i didn't want to get into a private university because having an undergraduate degree from a government university gives you an edge. Also, you'll get exposure in big cities as well, it's not necessary for you to do your Bsc Hons in Psychology from a rural area to get exposure. I am pursuing Psychology Hons in Delhi University and we get a lot of exposure. We have planned trips to rural areas. So that shouldn't be a criteria for choice. Hope this helps:) When i wanted to take up psychology, it would have been very helpful if someone from psychology background had clarified by doubts..hope this helps. P.S: this is my personal opinion
