I don't like the newer Privilege yachts compared to the older layouts. The 745 master cabin is epic. There's even a bathtub and it's completely private not to mention larger. I also don't like the seemingly random bunk placements on this yacht. Hopefully they improved the layout on recent models.

@@jamesaron1967 Agreed. The master cabin suite with bathtub and separate shower certainly stands out as different from just about every other catamaran design I've seen. Also I like the hull layout with the galley. Just about the largest galley I've ever seen, double full size fridges so perfect for long journeys and lots of time away from the dock, but also just beyond the galley intended as a crew bunk and mess would be a great breakfast nook and informal dining. Very snug. Some of the Sunreef power cats have an interesting layout. Look more like a penthouse apartment than a yacht. If I'm ever in a position to get something like this I'd stiil be seriously considering one of these older models.

Not all that clever. Everything on a yacht is a compromise...the centre cabin design means the wing deck has to be lower to the water to give head room in the cabin. The trade off is that you get a lot more waves slap on the underside of the wing deck as opposed to other yachts that don't have it. There is no perfect yacht, just what you are willing to pay for/put up with. Plus with this layout you have to go through cabin to access your room, great if that is where you put the kids down, NOT so good if they are teens or adults.

@@gbsailing9436 The master cabin access compared to the older 745 is more circuitous. It's also smaller and less well appointed. This yacht looks overall less spacious than the older models it replaces.

Same her for the same reasons. This master cabin looks smaller as well. A downgrade from the older model.

Funny i just see another vid , the builder explain it's a specific feature needed by the owner for his family, to store more people on board, the hammam too is custom made.

Next step would have to be adjustable masts to accommodate a fly. If you have one, hard to live without, views alone are worth it

Flybridges raise the sail plan, they don't usually limit sail area. But raising the mast is also a problem. I don't like flybridges all that much either but they're very popular and many clients demand them, hence their proliferation.

The deck was probably designed for a teak surface that will make the hatches level.

If you can't step your way over hatches, you have to ask yourself how you got 4.7 million euro in the first place, let alone what business you have buying a boat.

Yes its crap. They going to redesign the whole boat. Hatches will be flat, if they dont do that they gonna be broke pretty soon. Privilege builds very good catamarans, real craftsmanship. But they dont listen to input, ZERO! Thanks for watching!

I will happily accept any of these crap catamarans that others do not want. I'm sure I will be very popular on the Great Lakes with a 70' cat.

Yacht is a general term that describes many kinds of boats. Even racing boats are sometimes referred to as yachts. There term is also not specific to the number of hulls.

so it can handle fast strong winds and waves, thats actually good information to know for safety so thanks, which there are a lot of gimmicks out there that wouldn't last to well if caught in a storm and you will eventually if you sail a lot, yet some areas in the world are a little to dangerous weather for any boat, those tanker ships even known to go down with the waves.

The decks were designed to have teak applied to them. The hatches will be flush with teak.

Let me explain one thing about the mayority of boats. Most of the time they are laying still. You sail from point a to b as fast as you can, and there you stay as long as you want or can. Wich is mostly longer, then it took to get you there. Thanks for watching!
