Unreleased prototype dated March 25, 1996 recovered from original build files. Fully playable and tested on hardware, Mednafen emulator, and MiSTer FPGA beta Saturn core (20221016). Footage captured with Mednafen because at this time the sound in the MiSTer core isn't ready for prime time. Sad face.

Very cool some differences from it’s sega cd counterpart, hopefully it get a release some years sma go down Russell had a copy in his collection sadly disc 2 was damaged the game is know in the hand of some one else I believe they are or at least where trying to fix it to be released. It’s been backed up but not publicly shared the present holder has released other games from dons collection after his passing in his memory. Thanks for sharing

Nice! I heard of Saturn prototypes of this one existing in the past. But this is the first time I've seen footage of it. Thanks for sharing the footage! Are there any plans to dump it?

This was built with original backups from the mid 1990s of the source files so there wasn't any physical media involved so I guess technically it has been "dumped". No public release just yet and unfortunately has to stay in limbo for a little bit longer. Hopefully maybe soon. I don't own the rights and the rights holders are very much alive and still making new remakes of these games so we can't just throw it up on archive yet without them knowing and approving it even if that's what I would really like to do.

This looks like the budget was quite big for this game. Must have been gutting not to have released this for sale.

I have never been any good at this game. I know I beat the SCD version back in the 1990s somehow. I just can never get a feel for it.

I used to see Metal Gear Solid for the Sega Saturn back in 2013 and now its like it completely vanished I was trying to find it but its gone now. On the way back machine on a old website I found where someone was talking about it but no footage, ????? can someone help me out.
