Listened to this live on Sunday. Gutted Grimsta flopped on his bars a bit but he is hard still, I actually think he would've won but Mez has just got bars for days though. Need a better mic as well!
Yeah freestyling is an art that isn’t easy, so any mc like mez who can do it non-stop for a long period of time, gets my respect. I can’t all the time, hench why I prefer to write 😂
mez has a sick style no doubt but too many people saying hes good at freestyling when he keeps rhyming the same words over and over - there is nothing special about that
nah thats not as easy as it sounds, the rhyming words at the end of the bar were the same but he had to think of different jokes inbetween, on the spot, at a seconds notice, in the middle of the biggest clash in the prizefighter series, hes a real don man big up mez
Definitely nothing special about rhyming the same words over and over- however to just freestyle like that endlessly he deserves credit for that alone. It’s not easy, but he clearly works on his craft to enable him to do it. I wanna work on my craft to get to that level. 💯
I know I’m very late, but How did grimsta get a wheel? Really didn’t deserve one. And the DJ won’t stop laughing at Grimsta’s bars. Proper bias imo. Mez killed it
This clash was poor I'm sorry recycled flows and lyrics from mez about the super dry jacket an shit the sikes where shit apart from grimstas one few funny little jokes but the quality was not there right two people in the final but it was like they ran out of bars...grimsta won it for me tho
