No, reuse your oem gasket for the turbo side, your kit should have came with new gaskets for where it connects to the up pipe and heat shields should fit this downpipe just how they did on the original.
wonder why they don't have it on their site anymore... Also, i wonder what replacing downpipe, midpipe, intake, and intercooler with hoses does for basic daily driving mpg. Freeing up hp and making it more fun to drive is great, but 99% of the time i'm just doing a mundane drive to work and if it takes away a ton of mpg to some of us it won't be worth it.
I can reach out but more than likely it’ll be because of some EPA regulation. They’ve been handing out fines left and right to Motorsports companies. And in some cases your mpg will more than likely increase since you’re making the whole system much more efficient. I average 33 mpg and I drive hard. This is with their downpipe, front pipe, stage one intake, and a Hondata base map

Not sure if you’ll see this, been doing research and weather catted or catless is it worth it even though I have a greddy ddr catback exhaust, from what I’ve seen I can with or without a tune just for loudness((catted) no tune and minimal hp gains) I do want a tune but as of now I want to pay off my car before a tune so would it be worth it or wast of money??
Hey, thats a great question and from my personal experience with the catted down pipe without a tune, it did wake the car up a little even though it’s catted, but you’re right it would benefit a lot more with a tune. You’ll feel a better response from the turbo, at least I did, and more efficiency out of your car in general even without a tune. Nothing crazy, but it’s really up to you on what your goals are. It’s not going to give you crazy gains but maybe a couple extra hp without a tune. At least if you were to out this on your car it would be ready for a tune once you’re ready to do so.
I have a widebody scat charger in the garage was once the daily but now the Si took that spot just drive the charger on the weekends when it's nice. Seattle though so that's not often.
Ok, I’m a 69 year old guy who mostly has driven and modified V-8 cars. I now have a 22 civic sport touring hatch. Please explain what benefit a guy will get from changing out your catted down pipe, better air flow? Thx.
Better exhaust flow for better turbo spool. Helps the turbo breathe better and should help you gain some power up top since the turbo isn’t so restricted
I did! I found that having both the turbo blanket and the heat shields works 👌 now the inlet pipe is significantly cooler compared to stock. I don’t recommend running the downpipe without the heat shields, they make a big difference in containing heat
Bro I need help to install my Downpipe. I can’t take out the bulbs from Downpipe, are very hard, I have impact gun but nothing, any suggestions ? Thanks 🙏🏻
Soak them in PB blaster and just keep at it with the impact. PB blaster can do wonders. And when using your impact just keep hitting it in a pulsing rhythm. Try and stray away from using a wrench/ breaker bar.
Great question, it got a little louder but not really all that much, I personally like the tone coming out of it now. And no check engine light at all, been driving around non stop with no issues
The PRL downpipe does not give a check engine light. I have been running this downpipe for months now with no check engine light and zero issues. No tune

They are not the same. They use two different catalytic converters. PRL uses a much better catalytic converter that wont give you a check engine light. I’ve been running the PRL downpipe for months now and no check engine light. If you run 27Won you’ll have to get a Hondata or Ktuner to get rid of the Check Engine Light.
Whatcha mean? I just put them on the same way they came off. They only really go one way properly. If it doesn’t seem right then it’s probably not right. lol I haven’t done this in a while I’d have to look at it
@@forsakentoad7755 not in its entirety but if the car was damaged because you install an aftermarket part and they can prove that, then yes it voids your warranty
I didn’t do one because it honestly doesn’t sound too different from stock. Maybe a bit louder. I’ll do one here soon since it seems to be one of the most requested things on this channel
