I'm happy for River but Napom really took it for me. The first round of river was to much of a showcase in my opinion and Napom had great counters but I do see the flaws in Napom's second round
napom absolutely took it, he needed like 30 seconds of his second round to decide it - ik the end might’ve seen weird, but he knew he definitely had it, so he made a joke, because its still a BATTLE and the joke was on point (river mentioned it in an interview that he is inspired by genes’ beatboxing), and for river - second round was really strong, but then again his first round was just a showcase and against an opponent like napom, you HAVE to go all in for both your rounds
Same boat as most in my opinion Napom won that also the "Gene at home" line killed me because while river was preforming it reminded me of that wildcard that gene put out in man i cant remember but you prolly know which one im talking about . BUT my opinion aside congrats to River
