PRO DANCER REACTS TO ASTRO When The Wind Blows + Always You Special Stage | M COUNTDOWN  

Thank you for following these reactions, totally agree, ASTRO's choreographies are always beautiful. As for When the Wind Blows, Rocky composed and wrote the song, as well as did the choreography, even some of the high notes are done by him, and Binnie is not here because it is during the Blue Flame era, where he was absent for his health. And Always you is beautiful, the message and what all that song means is too much, the choreography was done by the dance line, something that always surprises me, because they manage to convey the feeling.

Moonbin was on hiatus due his health during the blue flame era...thats why he isnt there in 'when the wind blows' performance

My ultimate dream is to see When the Wind Blows with all 6 of them. As others have said Binnie is missing during Blue Flame promo era for a health hiatus. If you watch the wide shot fan cam of this after MJs crazy high note, Rocky and Jinjin literally look like ctrl + c, ctrl + v. The stylist who decided to put Rocky in a side slitted shirt and that choker on MJ needs a raise. Always you is the choreo where Moonbin slides and Rocky flies. This was a huge comeback for them and the real pivot point from cute-stro to more mature concepts consistently.

Always You Astro wrote this song for Aroha who has left the fandom because of the long break because the company was going through financial problems and Astro didn't know if they was going to disband and this song is from the Rise UP album which they did not get a chance to promote because of the problem with the company so Always You is my number one song from them

it was Rocky hitting the high notes in the background. When The Wind Blows was written and composed by him. ☺️ Moonbin was not able to promote that time due to health reasons.

Oooh! So glad to see you react to both of these. Always You is my favorite Astro title track. In the MV we only get the dance line doing bits of the choreo, and seeing all of it is always special. The song is definitely full of feels, and the choreo for it is one of Astro's best, but also one of their most underappreciated. When the Wind Blows is also such a good song! It's the first song Rocky wrote that was released on an Astro album (it's a B-side on Blue Flame, hence no Bin in the performance, as he was absent from promotions for health reasons, and sadly I don't think we've ever seen an OT6 version). Rocky also did the choreo for it (he's done choreo for other Astro B-sides as far back as debut, and also for other artists pre-debut), and you can really see some of his musical theater training coming out. Always love your reactions. :D

Ahhhh, I don't know how I missed this before!!!! Thank you for another ASTRO reaction, hehe. :) Both these choreographies are so beautiful, and came from our dance line too, making them even more special. :') When The Wind Blows was written and composed by Rocky for their Blue Flame album while thinking of how ASTRO often would have comebacks during the colder seasons, aka, when the wind tends to blow. When developing the parts for the different members, he said that he felt like they felt like the respective members - Bin's part would feel like Bin, Sanha's would feel like Sanha, etc. The choreography was made by Jinjin, Bin, and Rocky together, but unfortunately, we have yet to see an OT6 performance of WTWB. :'( Bin had been on hiatus during their Blue Flame era at the end of 2019, and therefore was unable to participate in any of the live stages at that time. We hope to see it one day, though!! For Always You, that's a song fraught with emotion, and this particular performance means so much to all Aroha, but specifically for the Aroha who were already fans during that time. As others have shared, 2018 was a very difficult time for both ASTRO and the fans - their agency was having all sorts of problems, and there was a fear of bankruptcy and therefore the disbandment of the group. Thankfully, things ultimately worked out, and so we were gifted with Always You and the rest of the Rise Up album. It is a member written album and conveys so much, it's a beautiful album in every way. I absolutely recommend checking out the translations for and listening to all the songs - they're all seriously amazing and touching. As for this specific performance, they had been unable to promote Rise Up, so this was the only live stage they had for Always You at the time. Another choreography done by Jinjin, Bin, and Rocky, by the way. If you haven't watched the MV yet, I absolutely recommend it with all my heart for your own viewing if nothing else. I love WTWB choreo, it's choreographed by Jinjin, Rocky and Bin and it's beautiful, really one of my fav. There is one video from a fansign and Rocky and Jinjin were so in sync on that song, it's insane, they looked like mirrors, that video blow my mind everytime I watch it. It's on twitter, I tried to give you the link but i can't here ahah Always you is really special, really emotionnal indeed.. Jinjin, Rocky and Bin also took a part in that choreo, they were told by the producer of the mv to do a choreo like one day before the filming and they even find the way to include a move which looks like aroha logo... they're amazing, they posted a short performance video of the part they made on their channel. It's really sad they didn't film dance practice for these songs because you missed a lot of move, the cameraman only focus on the one who sing in these videos but you can find better video like full stage, it's better so you can really appreciate the choreo.
