20 minutes went by like nothing, this video is perfection... the amount of work that went into it, the final results, music, cinematography, absolutely fucking beautiful.
The video is fantastic but the car looks the same. It’s like women’s trying to get the perfect tone of orange after trying 300 like looks the same. The young man talking of a life time to master detailing a care, then they are amateurs for their age.
Im 52, i just detailed my parents car as a gift for them...Took me two days and about killed me. I used to wonder why these guys would ask 200 or 300 dollars , i no longer feel like they are asking too much LOL
"If you locked people in a box for a year with 500 still frames of Joe Biden eating a sandwich, by the end they'd be adamant that some were great and some terrible." - XKCD
Just spent 40mins "detailing" my car. watched this video. realized i actually didn't detail my car at all. In fact this video made me realize ive just damaged the vehicle
The other major song used throughout the majority of this video is by Ilya Truhanov and its called Waltz Fantasy. He's a wonderful guitar player and highly suggest checking out his music.
Just here for closure. This video was the first time I heard of Automotive Aesthetic and Gears and Gasoline. Today, we mourn the passing of Daniel. The automotive community that new him feels this void, and after watching so much of Daniel’s content, I’m here trying to fill this odd void I feel. RIP Daniel. We will miss you.
Some are perfectionists. I like cars too. But not at this level. Technical maintenance. Proper washing. Etc. But i don't care at all about micro scratches and small dents.. A car is meant to be driven. If you like to have it in perfect condition, like new, keep it in the garrage all the time. When objects are more important than family, you know you're just a loser.
RIP Mr. Wendell. I watched this video years ago when I did not have a WRX, now I have a 2022 WRX in WR Blue, and I am watching your detailing video again :(
I follow each and every car detailing channel on RU-vid, Chicago, AMMO, Pan, etc. This is hands down the best car detailing video I've ever seen. From the actual detailing to the cinematography to the music, everything spot on!
I know what you mean. I live in the countryside so for a car to be kept at that standard is pretty great. Especially with the way I drive. If my car was done professionally like this I wouldn't dare to even drive it home.
So awesome to see so many Griot's products being used! especially our 6" random orbital! @8:55 there might have been a mix-up on which pad does what. The haze that was seen might have come from the chemical products being used, but they also might have been diminished by the order of pads being used. The Microfiber pad is actually more aggressive than the orange foam correcting pad. The microfiber pad might both the major contributor to the defect removal, as well as being the major contributor to the haze. Try using the microfiber pad with "Complete Compound" first, and then using the the orange correcting pad with "Complete Polish" or "Liquid Wax 3-in-1".
Seems like there is only 1 way to solve this problem. Send me all your products and i will happily tell you if they are good for a useless amateur. Cheers
The black microfiber ? I thought that was a finishing pad only ? That's how its described as I've looked at it also in the store but passed on it for that reason I was thinking it wouldbt be aggressive enough
I was watching this using Sony WH1000 noise cancelling headphones and that part nearly killed me with satisfaction. No stretch but my perception of awe has elevated to a place my mind hasn't even imagined was possible. Thanks G&G
I just wanted to say that I came back to rewatch this video because it helpped me relax. Dang, I’m in shock, Daniel thank you for sharing your gift with the world. :( stay blessed everyone
Did I just watch a 20-minute ad for Advanced Auto? And actually liked it?!? Edit: Holy shit, thanks for all the likes 👍🏼 Edit: 1 year later, still coming back to this video because of how good it is... Edit: 2 years later, Just heard of Daniels passing... this sucks. R.I.P. 🙏
Charles Pilling yes it’s making me happy how somebody can love his car so much that he’s taking so much time to make it look great again (even in detail) 😁
They still make very high quality videos, it's good enough that the sponsor is something car related. That way they can get some parts and get some help to continue to make more great videos. You should definitely check out their other videos.
Rest in peace Daniel. This was the video which got me into car detailing and inspired me to start my own business almost two years ago. Thank you for your inspiration.
RIP Daniel. Your passion truly transcended the iPhone screen and was able to connect to so many people. I strive to be as passionate you were when it comes to paint correction! You will always be missed and appreciated for your genius work❤
This video was so perfect...especially with the music. It's also the first video that is 20 minutes long that I didn't fast forward through...perfection.
Just called Daniel and his team at Automotive Aesthetic, he was very friendly and super helpful. I have a 2012 Subaru Outback and I live in Alexandria and plan to make the two hour drive down to him to trust my car in his capable hands. After watching this you tube video, I can't wait to have him and his team detail my car! I'll update you all after I get it back from the shop. I'll post some before and after pics too!
KEN CULT Hey bud! Not gonna lie... I still want to get the car detailed but haven’t worked out the money just yet. Will definitely update once Daniel has his way with my Subaru.
I've watched this time and time again, from start to finish, never skipping in the video. This is absolutely stunning from the choice of music, the commentary, to the camera angles. This, like he said truly is an art. I find it so soothing to watch. Treat your car right, it will treat you right. Happy driving my friends.
As a current Advance employee, if I was the person scanning you out I'd be HYPED. We get bonuses based off sales and your detail purchases easily let that guy hit his numbers for the day if not week. Good on you!
@@phillipalexander5305 seriously, now that im reading that dudes original comment, theres no such thing as a hitting a personal quota for a week. only per day lol. and even if we hit that quota, we get nothing for it.
I am so perplexed at why I just watched a 20min auto detailing video? Dare I say I enjoyed it, because the work you all did there is just other level incredible. I don't know how you all made that look so cool but you did, so kudos to youdos. Great work Automotive Aesthetic.
@@carljohnson4503 exactly. I have never once taken any of my cars through auto car washes, not once in over 20 years. Took my wife's old car through one once, because it was shit anyway and I didn't care about it. But her current vehicle is nice and I keep it looking nice so I'll never take it to one. My own Integra is probably too low to even fit through one lol.
@@carljohnson4503 we have brushless(Edit: drive thru) car wash where we live. doesn't scratch the paint. I usually roll through one of these before I hand wash since it washes 90% of dirt and debris off.
In case anyone is wondering: I went and bought most of these products aside from buckets, and I spent around $300-400 (My car is very new so I didn’t need restoration). Now, the longevity of the items is worth it for me. I have a subscription for unlimited car washes in between full detail sessions, and for the price I’d pay at a car wash for the same detailing job, I’m actually saving by doing it on my own. The initial investment definitely sucks when you don’t have 99% of the items, but if you have a car you really want to preserve and keep nice then I’d go for it!!! I barely started detailing my own cars two years ago and it’s a new hobby of mine because of videos like this :)
The video quality of this is absolutely amazing. Cinematography was probably the best of anything ive seen in a while. The editing to match up with the music was perfect. This video was absolutely incredible.
First video i ever watched on the beauty of detailing. The one that inspired me to start detailing not only my car but also my family’s and friend’s cars
Great! I just learned how to properly clean a car! Now to clean my hypothetical car with my hypothetical products that I purchased using my hypothetical money!
I don't feel like I'm watching a video on RU-vid about washing a car, I feel like I'm watching an Oscar nominated film about the perfection of a craft.
Rest In Peace Daniel. I’ve seen his other video where he details a white evo. Saw the whole video and was amazed how the vehicle came out at the end of his video. R.I.P🕊💐🕯
F*cking awesome video! I thoroughly have enjoyed the videos you've made in conjunction with Automotive Aesthetic. You could upload a video from their shop like every month and I would watch it over and over again!!!!
Just found out through the comments about the passing of Daniel. RIP. You loved what you did and it showed and you'll always have a great legacy on the internet.
Rest in peace Daniel. You're the reason I became so interested in auto-detailing. Your skills and passion will be remembered. Thank you for everything you've given us!
Keep in mind they bought an exaggerated amount because it's multiple guys working on the car. For one person, maintaining one car, that price is going to be significantly less. However, with price in mind, make sure you shop around your local auto stores and auto sections, most auto parts stores overprice there products. After you check the prices at Advanced Auto, I suggest you walk into your local Walmart and see the difference, sometimes you can literally be paying half the price what you would pay at Advanced Auto.
Still one of my favorite videos to watch about car detailing. I just got my new car a few days ago. I always go back to this and other detailing videos on this channel to find the best products. Rest In Peace Daniel 🙏🏽
