The "Paneer in green sauce" was probably "Saag Paneer" which is a spinach base "curry" with cheese cubes. It is amazing.

I’ve never had Indian food myself, just don’t have any in my area, well, that isn’t in a large city as I live in the deep countryside. So getting to see this was so amazing, everything looked so good, always love to see your new videos!

I actually love the amount of salad plates you kept coming back with. Indian cuisine is my all time fave and being a vegetarian I have endless options. The butter paneer and palak paneer are my top 2 fave dishes. Got me craving Indian now 🤤 oh my can’t forget malai kofta! It’s cheesy potato balls in a cream sauce. Usually there's Nigella seeds in the pakora batter, it's these small black sesame looking seeds, got a great flavour. It's got a kinda muskier, zingier more robust anise seedy flavour I'd say.

I’m going back and watching your earlier videos and boy, you’ve changed. You changed your technique, and your “cockiness towards the challenge. You were so positive you were going to beat the challenge and you would say so. You also have learned to be more showy. I’ve never tried Indian food but I would love to except I don’t eat onions or peppers

Over the years I've tasted goat curry a few dozen times on Indian buffets. I've never noticed a gamey flavor... it's virtually indistinguishable from beef in my experience.

@JoelHansen In England a Vindaloo is one of the 4 Hot 🥵 Curries! A Korma is the mildest curry and comes in every protein and vegetables you can think of, as do all the other variants of chilli 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ dishes of Curry. In ALL of our Indian and Packistan Restaurants and Takeout places show how many Chillis 🌶️ a dish is but they describe all the ingredients that go into each and every curry dish also. So as I was saying that the Korma is the mildest Curry dish, then they will have lots of other dishes that feature onions, paneer, mushrooms, etc etc, the list is endless!!! Lol. So the next step up is simply Medium or they will just call it “Chicken Curry” then you start to get spicy and the next one is a Madras. For people that are used to chillies 🌶️ usually order this, then there is Vindaloo!! Which is an absolutely red hot 🥵 curry dish‼️‼️ For most restaurants and a lot of takeout places that’s it. But you can find some that do a Tindaloo which is Extremely fiery and fierce‼️And then the Faal which is the hottest curry ever made apart from the stupid crazy challenges that they do with whole Habaneros and ghost peppers‼️‼️ I have seen how you react to 2 million Scoville’s not long ago! You crazy man. Please don’t do these kind of challenges because they literally burn your stomach lining away AND your intestines! I am a gastrointestinal nurse and I see it all of the time! They will have Ulcers in the Gullet and Oesophageal tract and in their stomach and intestines and lower bowel! I have even in worse case scenarios they have holes and they are causing sepsis to their bodies!! And they have to have either an illiostomy bag or a Colostomy bag for life‼️‼️❤❤❤❤️❤️❤️❤️ I don’t want that for you my friend. Please don’t do the crazy hot 🥵 challenges again Joel 🙏🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰

Joel's little shrug when something is mediocre and his emphatic nod when it's good is so trademark. If you get a "whoo!" or careless whisper you can be proud of your food Palak paneer is spinach. One of my favorites. Haagen-dazs makes a dark chocolate with peanut butter ribbons that is the total epitome of indulgence. Ironically, besides that my favorite is a quality vanilla.

Buffets are turning into watching man vs salad...

Being vegetarian and a Bramptonian I prefer all-vegetarian buffets but this one had decent amount of veggie options. I don’t like the meat dishes sitting right next to the veggie ones. They should have completely separate areas for meat and veg. I’m surprised it’s not busier on a Saturday night. In Brampton Saturday nights are the busiest ever at all the Indian restaurants and we have a LOT.

It has beef in it. It's name is Taal and not Thal ( which means Big Plate of Different Varieties of Food ). The food looks modified for Americans ( reduced spicies & heat ) It's not an authentic Indian food buffet...

I love salad too, I love the crunchy vegetables, like chunky cabbage, carrots, cucumber, etc I put lactose free cottage cheese on it, soooo good :) perfect cool meal for summer :) My fave ice cream is Lucerne Maple Walnut, my fave brand :)
