This is a great End of the year move for the Era. I like many other fans have waited long for this mixtape and it was definitely worth the wait. My favorite is either Vinyls or Like Water. If you look at the back cover Astrals by CJ Fly isnt on here so they made a mistake, but still It's sicckk. Enjoy It.

To all of you saying "Hip Hop is back!" that is one of the most false things a person could say about hip hop. Hip hop never died nor disappeared and came back. There are millions of starving artists out there trying to be heard, a certain percentage of them are making great music, and the thing about you people who say that "hip hop is dead" are usually the ones to bash artists who tell you to check out their music. So how you even know if it's dead if you aren't letting it live? Or going underground searching for new artists? You people are hilarious lol

i hate the fact that this mixtape is so underrated, the lyrics, instrumentals and the vibe is on point. i heard so many hip hop mixtapes and albums but non are as good as this mixtape. This tape will forever hold a place in my memory. I was in my early twenties and just graduated from college. I knew that college was a brainwashing tactic midway through my experience. When Pro Era came out, they all helped me so much. I've always been a huge Hip Hop head, so hearing them was a breath of fresh air. Especially with TDE, A$AP Mob, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, and many others coming out around that timeframe too. That was probably my favorite run of Hip Hop. I never was on board with ragging on Pro Era and saying they were worse or not good without STEEZ. Don't get me wrong, I love Capital STEEZ, but I also enjoyed Pro Era as a movement. They all brought and bring so much to the table individually, which is why collectively they were such a breath of fresh air. It brought me back to my High School days of having a large group of homies and just enjoying and living life. Life was much easier and calmer back then, so Pro Era brought a lot of nostalgia to me. This tape is incredible and I've enjoyed the run they have had and the fact that a few of them are still on good terms. I've been fortunate enough to witness Pro Era live at Soundset back in 2012 and this Wednesday I'll be seeing Joey live for my 5th time, so I'm stoked about that. Thank you for this upload and salute to you. I'm glad the algorithm brought me here.

This tape and 1999 were my soundtrack to 2013 after a friend of mine put me onto Joey and Pro Era. Fell out of hip hop for a while but I’ve recently started coming back into it and am experiencing these albums all over again. Brings back a lot of college memories and reminds me of how much simpler things seemed a decade ago. Back when there was still a sense of separation between social media and real life, before American politics had devolved into complete chaos and put this country on the verge of war with itself, before Covid hit and proved undoubtedly just how devastating isolation and lack of human contact is to the health of the mind. And now I’m going through the comments on this video and seeing a bunch of recent ones from the past few months expressing similar sentiments. Interesting how we’ve all wound up here again.
