Nice blog. The modifications available in Pro Evolution Soccer were a luxury that sadly can not be duplicated, without the wariness of copyright infringements and potential lawsuits.
Glad you enjoyed! Yes, it's sad. You'd need a game that has the more basic kits that the non-licensed PES teams had, which is why if anyone can do it then it would be an indie developer. But the difficulty then is that they'd need the time, budget, and tech to capture all those animations...
Thanks! For me, PES 4 to PES 6 are the gold standard, but PES 5 will always be special for me - probably because of the memories I have of that specific game.
