Even Kibaki didn't treat Moi badly despite his years of oppression. Whether Gachagua oversaw this or not, the buck stops with Ruto. I know for a fact that the people in Kiambaa that he was bitter with, bought their land -- they did a harambee. In 2008 as they were being slaughtered, Kikuyus cried out to Uhuru for help, and he came through in a big way. A lady I know says she's 100% sure she'd be dead were it not for Uhuru's intervention. These are peaceful demonstrations. What is wrong with them? The first time was eating food after disrupting a kisumu meeting, later the first Monday was burning of UDA offices and a car(s) in Kondele, looting Citizens' businesses in Nairobi. Today was again torching vehicles, looting goats and sheep,factories,etc. When UDA offices burnt down, demonstrations had succeeded and were very peaceful, how unpeaceful are they then when some others' people's properties are involved? Ati people burn their own properties and complain. Ruto was clear about how u would do ur maadamano-- liase with the police, to ensure u do ur maandamano without causing damage to people's property. Sasa kama mmeshindwa to ensure peace, don't shift blame. Take responsibility for what u started and still do. Unless u want to tell us that all along some people wanted to burn Uhuru and Raila's property but didn't know where they were until today. In my view,many people knew these properties and never had any intention to damage until Raila called for maandamano for which some of the properties have to be damaged,be blamed on government for purposes of villifying it with a view of changing administration unconstitutionally. Luckily, many people just believe what they are being told with scrutiny.
