Chicago has had a magician, Science fair, Handball, 3 grown men finding needles in a haystack, and made drama out of food all in one day. New York collapsing over having boring host that put in no effort, while begging for someone to do something or need Dave to come in. Ridiculous.
Yeah was about to comment this as well. Dude was super chill, funny, and helped explain the game. Had me interested the entire stream. (Mind you, I did watch this at 2x speed which did help me stay interested)
I played for JD one season while at school at OSU. He is an absolutely awesome human being, who gives so much of his time outside of work to the sport! Note: Half of our practices were generally late night, and some times the team will travel as far as internationally to get experience in Europe. The dedication these guys have to this is next level, and really hope the game grows!
i think its awesome barstool keeps giving eyes to niche sports. roofball, handball (in the us), and now goalball coming in April. so much room for so many cool sports/communities. awesome stuff
Awesome stream. JD was super cool, had every opportunity to take offense to what PMT has previously said about his sport, but instead rolled with the punches. Had a great sense of humor and explained the game perfectly. It’s crazy that’s there’s so many Olympic sports like this that most people don’t understand. All it takes is a quick video like this to explain the game and now I’m stoked to watch Handball
as a German, playing Handball for 30 years now. I have a lot of apprecaition for this stream. I like the effort you put in to give some exposure to this . Especially the ambassador commentator was a delight. He made a good case for explaining the game and advertising it. I also liked that we as the Handball community got at least got SOME closure for that bullshit Cutler and the others said years ago. Of course the level of the "professionals" isn't that good. The 22 in white is good though. But that's totally fine and not the point here. Nice job treating an unknown sport in the US with respect.
God, Jake will not stop talking. I'd rather listen to what they're saying on the court or what the ambassador is saying than Jake yelling how much time they have left every 30 seconds or talking over people. The ambassador was trying to talk about something happening and Jake was asking what type of shoes they wear, like c'mon.
