Considering they didn't even know who All For One was, much less that a villain capable of taking and giving quirks at will existed, it makes sense that no one would know who Yoichi was, or of the rebellion created to take him down so Kudo and Bruce would go unnoticed. While Hikage's story goes mostly unsaid, I don't get the sense that he'd have been someone dictated into history. By the time Canon came around, there were thousands of pro-heroes in the world. Most of them go unnoticed, unmentioned, and will go unremembered, the only ones that get any sort of attention are the higher ranked ones. The only reason we know of lower ranked ones is because they aid in the plot somehow. So to assume that decades later they'd know who Banjo, En, or Nana would be, is pretty illogical. They could have been underground, lower ranked, or just didn't perform some big deed worthy of the actual history books. No one really knew who Gran Torino was either, and it'd only been about 20-40 years since he'd been an active hero.
Can yall take a moment to appreciate that that Zilla (idk ur name sooo) litrly mentioned the timeline without ACTUALLY mentioning it... And also i love how Aizawa Sensei punched midnight!!!
