Do you have an Eng Duneland controller motor that can put be put on the lens like the sigma 60 mm to 600 mm Sports lens that comes with their controller to put on the tripod handle as well
I am looking for a fusion Sony "A" mount lens to a MFT camera Nobody seems to make one. There has got to be a lot of Minolta / Sony "A" mount glass available. The lenses were made for both APS-c and Full Frame, so having a lens to reduce the image would be great. Many of the lenses were for autofocus and camera controlled aperture.
Yeah, agreed, that would be a good adapter. We don't make one at this time unfortunately, we just make a fully manual one: fotodioxpro.com/products/sna-mft
You just factor in the Micro 4/3 crop factor. So if the B4 lens starts at 9mm and ends at 150mm, you just multiply both by the Micro 4/3 2x crop. So on a Micro 4/3 camera a 9-150mm lens will be an 18mm to 300mm full frame equivalent.
Hellow, very creative adapters, congrats for that. My question: does the Canon EF to MFT fusión adapter will work with sigma lenses especially the 18-35? Thanks for your time.
Hi Angel, here's a list of compatible lenses: fotodiox.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/17000082823-ef-mft-fusion-compatibility-chart The Sigma 18-35 isn't listed but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, just that it may not have been tested.
@@FotodioxInc Will the EOS to MFT Throttle ND Adapter work on both the Blackmagic OG Pocket Cinema Camera and the 4K versions with MFT mounts? I understand some focal reducers have issues with these cameras, but I haven't had any issues using standard non glass adapters with these cameras for EOS mount glass. Thanks in advance for any clarifications offered; I've searched everywhere but no one has mentioned this yet.
I’m looking for lens adaptors that will allow me to mount various EF-S brands I own, to a Blackmagic Studio 4K Pro and also the Plus model. These two cameras are MFT mounts and very new models. I am really struggling to find information about what works and what doesn’t. Any help, much appreciated.
You'd need a Canon EF to Micro 4/3 auto adapter. Unfortunately at this time our Canon EF to Micro 4/3 auto adapter is not compatible with Blackmagic cameras, so I'd recommend looking at some of the other brands to see if one is.
Hi. I just bought a Fotgiox pro tilt shift for Nikon G to MFT. I am trying to mount this to a Panasonic GH5. In rhe display I keep getting a message lens not mounted properly. On adjust ment this clear but returns as soo as I try to set tilt shift settings. Do you have any remedies for this?
At this time we only offer Nikon to Sony E and Nikon to Nikon Z FUSION adapters, but we may have more in the future. We just don't have anything to announce at this time.
I'm planning on purchasing an Olympus OMD-Em1 Mark lll camera and have some DSLR lenses from an Olympus E620 DSLR. I just want an adapter to be able to use these lenses on the new camera, what would you recommend? Thank you.
That's a four thirds system, so you'll need our four thirds to micro four thirds lens adapter. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/collections/lens-mount-adapters/products/o43-mft Just a warning: this is a non-electronic adapter, so you won't be able to control the adapted four thirds lens apertures.
@@FotodioxInc So, it has limited functionality. Someone suggested the Olympus MMF-3 adapter which will give me all functions. Thank you for your reply, very much appreciate it. It is expensive but worth it compared to buying more lenses.
Hi Sean and Fotodiox team, I've a pretty specific issue regarding Mamiya Sekor SX f1.8 lens for M42 mount. Do you have an adapter/s that will enable me to use this lens on my Micro four thirds GX80? There is an aperture overhang, which means it won't fit on my usual m42 to mft adapter, plus the notorious aperture pin issue on this lens. I've looked online and the only solution appears to be filing down parts of an adapter and taking the lens apart to remove or alter the pin. Any suggestions or help would be most appreciated!
Can you please tell me if you have a Olympus EM10 with this adapter that can fit the EF lenses, does the IS on the canon lens work with the 5-axis IBIS in the Olympus, or does it have to be turned off on the lens, because might conflict. Anybody know? I know native camera to native lens works together.
Hi - was a very nice and informative presentation! I have a whole bunch of different NIKON lenses, incl. latest 24-40 and 70-22/f2.8 fully automatic prime lenses and older 200mm/f4 MicorMacro stuff. Witch adapter do you recommend in oder to get full automation on the very small and handy Olympus PEN-F?
Hi Rolf, unfortunately we don't currently offer an auto adapter for Nikon to Micro 4/3, but we do offer one for Sony E-mount so we may offer one down the road.
We've currently only ever offered a Nikon to Sony E FUSION. It's possible that we'll offer a Nikon to Micro 4/3 FUSION adapter in the future, but I can't say for certain at this time.
Yes, we have a manual adapter. It's not electronic, so you'll have to adjust the aperture and focus of your Nikon lenses manually. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/nikg-mft?_pos=3&_sid=ecf3fa325&_ss=r
Yes, you should be able to mount that on your GX8 with our EF to MFT adapter. We offer a manual and auto versions. The auto versions should be able to control the aperture of this lens, but we haven't tested it. Manual: fotodioxpro.com/products/eos-mft?_pos=1&_sid=cf2c5f587&_ss=r Auto: fotodioxpro.com/products/eos-mft-fusion?_pos=6&_sid=cf2c5f587&_ss=r Auto with focal reducer: fotodioxpro.com/products/eos-mft-fusion-redux?_pos=21&_sid=cf2c5f587&_ss=r
Alright, PLEASE help me out. I accidentally bought the Nikon F mount versionof the Sigma 18-35. I have a Panasonic G85 I wish to connect it to. I have purchased two incorrect Viltrox adapters and I'm losing my mind. Please, someone point me in the direction of making this work. Need F mount to Panasonic (M43.)
We do offer manual Nikon to Micro 4/3 lens adapters, but we don't offer anything electronic at this time. Here's the link to the manual adapter: fotodioxpro.com/products/nikg-mft?_pos=1&_sid=9639a303e&_ss=r
If I'm reading your question right, you're looking to adapt 4/3 mount Sigma lenses to a Micro 4/3 camera? I so, we do have an adapter for that. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/om43-mft
Unfortunately we don't offer a Canon XL to Canon EF adapter, because Canon XL mounting system was for a much smaller sensor and the focal flange distance was much shorter than Canon EF's focal flange distance.
Yes. Here's the auto version: fotodioxpro.com/products/eos-mft-fusion?_pos=6&_sid=58031cfb4&_ss=r Note, this adapter does not work on Blackmagic cameras at this time due to software issues.
I am very happy with the one I have Sony/M4/3 it is perfect and no issues related. I would love to get now the Fotodiox Pro Fusion Redux Adapter!! That would make the difference!
Owned the variable internal ND adapter for a while and overall it was convenient to switch lenses, it did have a habit of creating sun flares between the rear lens elements and the front of the ND, so that's something to keep in mind.
Do you mean a Micro 4/3 lens to Fujifilm X-mount camera adapter? We don't currently offer one but it would be possible since the Micro 4/3 system has a deeper focal flange distance.
That's to mount a retro Fujica X Lens on a Micro Four Thirds camera. Though it sounds awfully similar, Fujica X was a different lens mount system from the 70's and mid 80's: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fujica_X-mount
We do offer a Micro 4/3 to Sony E-mount adapter that would allow you to do that, but it only really works with Micro 4/3 lenses that can focus manually, since it has no electronic contacts or communication. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/mft-snye
Hi Ann, do you want to use your Micro 4/3 lens, you'll need our Micro 4/3 Macro Tube here: fotodioxpro.com/products/macro-tube-auto-mft It looks like we're sold out, but you can sign up to be notified when we get more in stock.
Unfortunately you can't adapt Sony E-mount lenses to a Micro 4/3 mount camera because Sony E has a slightly shorter focal flange distance than Micro 4/3 does.
if you mean Sony E-mount lenses, unfortunately that wouldn't be possible. This is because Sony E-mount has an 18.00 mm focal flange distance, while Micro 4/3 has a longer 19.25 mm focal flange distance. So even if we did make an adapter, the adapted E-mount lenses would not be able to focus to infinity and would only work as close-up focus lenses.
Unfortunately that's not possible because the Micro Four Thirds mount has a slightly longer focal flange distance that Sony E mount does, so even if we made an adapter it wouldn't be able to focus a Sony lens to infinity on an MFT camera.
I have a Nikon D5200 Camera and would like to use 3 new lens I just got, but they don't fit. The Lens are a Opteka, Oshiro and a Yongnuo. What lens adapter should I use? Please Help
Those are generic brand lenses that came in multiple mount versions, so I can't tell you for sure. You may want to reach out to our tech support team and send them some pictures of the backs of the lenses. They should be able to tell what they are and then tell you what adapter(s) you may need. Here's where to contact them: fotodiox.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
We don't offer an adapter to mount a Micro 4/3 lens on a Canon DSLR. The problem is that Micro 4/3 has a much shorter focal flange distance than a Canon DSLR, so even if we did make an adapter, it wouldn't be able to focus to infinity and it would just be a macro lens.
Hi thank you so much for this very useful information. I have one question I mistakenly bought a lens not compatible with my camera. and its impossible to return it by now. I bought a sigma 18-35mm 1.8 DC for SONY A mount but my camera is Canon EOS 90D which is EF-S Mount---( totally did not fit)---- Could I still find an ADAPTER between my camera Canon 90D and this Sigma lens which Sony A mount? Thank you so much
Yes! We actually do offer a lens adapter for mounting Sony A-mount lenses on Canon EOS camera! Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/collections/lens-mount-adapters/products/snya-eos-pro
You guys should make a Canon EF to Canon EF ND Throttle + CPL filter so that you can have control of these factors; while also being able to put it in front of a Metabones EF to MFT Speedbooster or another Speedbooster! It would expand a number of creative possibilities! :0 :)
Unfortunately that wouldn't work, because if you put extra space between a native lens and a native camera without a corrective optic, the lens loses the ability to focus to infinity and becomes a macro focus only lens. This is why we can only make ND Throttle adapters for non-native lenses that have a longer focal flange distance than the camera we're adapting them to. The extra space we get with the extra focal flange distance gives us the space to put an adapter. I suppose we could make a Canon EF to Canon EF speedbooster/ND Throttle combo, but putting the VND filter directly next to the speedboosting optic could create some reflection issues.
I just picked up a cheap sigma zoom 100-300mm 4.5 - 6.7 DL (Pentax). Do you sell or recommend an adapter to mount to my Panasonic GH4??? Is there even on available. I also would like to know if you have a mount for same lens but for a Canon 50d. Thank you
Yes, we do have adapters for both cameras. Here's the adapter you'll need for your GH4: fotodioxpro.com/products/pkaf-mft?_pos=2&_sid=81123da08&_ss=r And here's the adapter you'll need for your Canon 50D: fotodioxpro.com/products/pk-eos?_pos=5&_sid=9bb9ec085&_ss=r Unfortunately, the PK to EOS adapter is out of stock currently.
hey Sean very thorough video. Thank you so much! So I was curious if there is a drop in filter adapter to place between Mzuiko lenses on a micro 4/3 olympus camera that you can drop in ND filters?
So, if I'm getting this right, I believe Mzuiko lenses are Micro 4/3 mount, right? If so, we don't make an adapter to go between a Micro 4/3 lens and a Micro 4/3 camera because you can't put extra space between a native lens and native camera and still focus to infinity. You'd be better off just getting screw-in filters to go on the front of those lenses.
Hi Sean, impressed by your presentation and the adaptor lineup for M43. I’m going to take a good look at your website after watching your video but have a question in the meantime. Can I adapt L Mount Alliance lenses to work with / on an M43 mount? Many thanks.
Hi Andrew, L-mount lenses have a focal flange distance of 20.00 mm, while the Micro Four Thirds system has a focal flange distance of 19.25 mm. So if we did make an adapter, it would have to be less than a millimeter thick to focus the L-mount lenses to infinity. This is why we don't offer and L to Micro 4/3 adapter at this time. The engineering of it is just too tricky.
@@FotodioxInc Hi, thanks for the in depth explanation, I see the issue now! l visited your website last night and an now on a mission use other system lenses which I have collected over the including vintage few film vintage lenses that I forgot that had. You’re video has inspired me, thanks. 😊
We don't currently offer an adapter like that, because Micro 4/3 actually has a longer focal flange distance than Sony E, so if we made one it would not be able to focus any E-mount lens to infinity.
Lots of interesting adaptors there but 1 comment, when using the x.71 fusion redux adaptor should your 50mm lens not become a 35mm (50x.71) full frame equivalent not 71mm?, i have a Sony one of these and its great adaptor.
Hi Dave, unfortunately not, because you still have to factor in the Micro 4/3 camera's 2x crop. Without the .71 redux optic, a 50mm lens is a 100mm lens on a Micro 4/3 sensor's 2x crop, because the equation is simply 50 x 2, but with the Redux .71 optic the equation is 50 x .71 x 2, which is 71mm. So the Redux makes an adapted 50mm lens a 71mm full frame equivalent on a Micro 4/3 sensor camera.
@@FotodioxInc I see, I was thinking of a full frame & forgetting the 2x for the 4/3 sensor, i did not realise there were so many adaptors available & seeing this video has made me very curious
I like seeing all the Minolta to MFT adapters. I assume you have these because of the consistent quality of the Minolta vintage lenses. Is there another reason though, related to MFT and Minolta?
