I just got the colt 90x recently and I only have experience skating and longboarding. I'm loving it so far, however I just plan on riding mine through mountain bike trails. This board is a blast !
hey guys! I was just wondering, I'm going to upgrade my board to have new trucks, and I was wondering, is it worth spending the extra money buying the matrix III? Otherwise I was going to buy the matrix II because I love the oil slick design. Thank you legends!
It depends what you ride. If you like stick&stones than yes! Matrix II are bit wobbly on uneven ground (like forest, mountains, rough ski slopes, gravel roads etc.) But if you ride parks, skateparks, tarmac, rails and jumps, than go with the oil finish!
Quality! Tahis is the important shit! Every board is fine, until you reach the DEATH ZONE! I started with Scrub. Later I got "Akande" deck, a rip off MBS Pro100 but waaaaaaaay lighter. Of course it broke! Later was PMS from chech and it was awesome! Until it broke... Then I got Trampa, cutted it to my will. And oh boy it was paradise! It got softrer (used out) and I got NoSno. My first non-MBS trucks and stuff. Crazy stuff, a sledgehammer on the mountain! I merged it with Trampa deck, and it's the pinnacle for downhill. But now I have Haero BRO. On MBS stuff. All. In. One. Except for downhill (Matrix 2 is weak and squeak) it is all-purpose top of the line. BUT only with F5 bindings, other ones are weak... Oh! And don't forget Flame boards!!!! Best quality ever! Only the weight and price was bit crazy. But the ride was perfect.
I’m about 6’3 and weigh about 210 pounds at the moment😮 I live in the USA Ohio I can think of a few parks close by that has some pretty easy hills to practice on. do you think this beginner board would work for me? I don’t remember if you mentioned the cost.
Hi there, that's great you want to get into Mountainboarding! We would recommended you check out the MBS Comp 95 www.mbs.com/boards - that would be better suited to your height
Hi if i like to upgrade the bindings of the colt right of the bat is it even worse the money or should i by the core instead? Can someone describe the difference of the two boards?
