Hello from Ethiopia🇪🇹. I'm a filmmaking student and This video really inspired me to go out and shoot again. I've been shooting on an Itel A35 which is not that good phone camera but my photos are decent, recently I've been struggling with a lot of things but this video really inspired me to stop complaining about how bad my phone camera is and try to create the best photo and video I can get out of it.Thank you! And the photos are great man.
Hello there, I just want to give you a bit of idea making film/video in professional way with smartphone by using 3rd party app such as: Open Camera, HedgeCam2, FV 5-Cinema if the original camera app doesn't have the tools you need. Open Camera will let you colour grading even. Hope this might help
i recently got the Xperia 1 mk V... so far im blown away by the quality of the images im taking with the device... the new image sensor is a game changer...
@@thevisuallifekeep it up the masterpiece artwork and Sony must be proud of you. I am using Xperia 1iv now and I wish I have enough money soon to buy Xperia 1v soon. Love you from Malaysia...
I rarely give comments to videos that I watch, and this one genuinely amazes me. Good review of the phone, good examples and good coverage of what the phone can do. It's the definition of originality as it separates this one from the other thousand RU-vidrs out there that also give reviews to phones like these. Thanks for giving good effort into making this video! I like it.
Knowing that the updates are coming to the Xperia 1 V makes me that much more confident in getting that one. Finally Sony is stepping up their software processing game and happy to see them taking bokeh mode to the next level.
If Sony do not upgrade the 1/5 mk4 and mk5 camera drivers (Bokeh also) to the 5 V model, these clips are simply poor shower with cold water. There are so many users being fooled by bad system upgrades, it's simply not ok for their class nor price tags. Sony should give the money to the software engineers, not for showing these... Bummer!
Today only I saw a Sony ad, and they displayed some really beautifully shot pictures, I was bidazzled, and then I bumped into this video and realised you are the man behind those beautiful videos ❤ great job done
Night mode and bokeh mode On another level with Xperia phones now Very happy with that I will subscribe to your channel, because I am interested in Sony phones😁
Thanks for the video, I can see you put a lot of effort into this! Great shots on the Xperia 5. Looking forward to trying the burst mode, still discovering all the features! Keep up the good work, subscribed!
i think the Sony Xperia 5 V is the better choice. Smaller size and better price. Good camera, good battery and sd card slot. I love it. I need one. Thanks for the review. Perfect video.
I have s23ultra, and I love their camera's quality. They don't sell Sony in my region. If they do, I would purchase it already a long time ago. I'm from Western Australia, Perth. I love photography.
You can still get Xperias in Australia, you just have to go online rather than through any mobile networks. The main thing is just to check which models are compatible with your network
Sony really made a great phone camera this time, it is undeniable. Compared to their mark II series in 2020 it is a very huge improvement, well done Sony ! But please release one color science firmware update for my A7R III, it is such a great camera but with some minor issues that makes it expensive next newer models, please Sony ! I'm willing to pay to buy firmware updates for a7R III 🙏
Good luck to Apple and Samsung with their strategy of tying customers to their ecosystem of services and accessories. I need a sleek phone with no bloatware, a good camera and - aham - a 3.5mm jack🙂. Just found it.
Yes, I don’t know why these content creators don’t post the full RAW/Jpegs for us to downloadable as if they’re trying to hide the full quality and flaws of the pics.
Thank you so much for this detailed review of the Xperia 5 V! Compared to the Xperia 1 V, would you say that the ridges on the back and sides of the 1 V give it very good grip, without a case? Also, what about one handed use on the Xperia 1 V vs. the 5 V?
I would love to see if the burst mode of the pro camera is much different than the previous models of the 5. I have the 5 ii, and the pro burst mode is ace when I take images of my whippet. It's like a cheat code with that autofocus
I wished you covered the video quality of the phone as well because I'm thinking of buying this phone to use it as a camera for my youtube channel to film videos
Well from what I've seen from other creators, the common denominator that they are saying is that video shooting/vlogging/content creation is one of their focus, they also included a rear facing mic to make it more vlog friendly, you can also use their quick edit apps to create clips for youtube shorts, or previews for your content.
@The Visual Life: I have a question. I want to go back to a Sony phone. I used the Xperia Z1, Z3, Z5 then moved over to Samsung flagships phones (Note S20 and now currently using the S22 Ultra). I want to go back to Sony but I am not sure which one to get, I cannot decide if I should go with the Xperia 1 V, Xperia 5 IV, or the Xperia 5 V. I like the small form factor of the 5V. Which you recommend out of these 3?
Brilliant video, I've been waiting for this phone, and now I'm torn between the 1 Mk5 and this. I feel the question is will I miss the telephoto lens, as in reality that seems to be the only difference?
Bravo. You are a professional. Good afternoon, I am also a photographer. Say please? Which is better for photos and videos: SONY XPERIA PRO-I or SONY XPERIA 1V your advice please, which one should I take? Thank you very much in advance and I wish you good health..
@@thevisuallifewhy did you ignore comments and not post the bokeh shots for download so we can see the full resolution and edge detection? Are you hiding something?
Hi, Thank you for the detailed video on x5v ... Could you please tell, how much of a difference that "missing telephoto" lens would make if I'm getting this one...
question, if I have never had a SLR or a Sony phone, only a Samsung phone, and I would like to take good photos and videos, especially this 24fps effect, gosh, what a beautiful film effect it is. so is it difficult to achieve effects like in the video here? I mean, I mean editing photos, can I do it all with my phone or do I need to have some additional programs for oc. because I'm thinking about buying a 5v
