I have that exact glove. It was extremely stiff so I sent it to the goalie glove guy to get it broken in and added a skate lace pocket and floating tee and I absolutely love it.
As I say in the video, this specific set belonged to my friend and he let me try it. So there was no money involved from me. If you watch my Catalyst 9x3 review, you will see more I like about it. With the catalyst pads it was a matter of the sliding material that comes on their stock pad that really ruined the experience for me. I keep trying True because I feel like they are so close to making something I might really like, so it makes me curious to try their new products.
I ordered a custom vaughn v9xp carbon with a pro palm and it snaps shut very easy and never a stinger with the extra padding. Disappointing true pro palm is so stiff to close, that would be so annoying using in a game, you sure that's not a practice plus palm? That looked horrible to close lol
It was actually labeled as a pro palm. Even just comparing the game ready Vaughn gloves to the game ready True/Lefevre gloves I’ve had, Vaughn feels better to me, so I wouldn’t be surprised to hear you say that.
I know what you’re talking about, but those aren’t “breaks”. It’s just the way True makes their pads, that if you try to flex them, there is a clear delineation in the knee area. If you can find the picture of Connor Hellebuyck flexing his all star pads, you will see the same thing and those were confirmed as “no break” pads by True.
@@L7spider wow realy?? Didn't know it till now. I have vaughn slr3 custom with 1 break and the thighrise is stiff. Must be a "true-thing". Thanks for your content. Never stop it. Greetings from germany.
