Great video Andrew, love tips about bladed jigs. Got on them late but use them more than spinner sits. Also had success with white double willows especially for bigger bass. Thanks for the tips.
Great information! Thanks for the volume and quality you are sharing with us. I know it's a ton of extra work to do what your doing. Just know it's greatly appreciated.
Did you know that chrome is actually less reflective than the color white in regards to ultraviolet? Did a study years back that was published in BAM, so if it’s stained water and they are targeting shiny baitfish I love white! Clear water I will still stick with nickle/chrome for bait fish and black for gills or cray patters 🤙🏼 That gold for tannic water is spot on, great subject bro
Got agree with you what you said, on point to me. achafalaya basin humdinger white spinner bait with white blades 😉. This time of year I do really good with White, blue, character shirt with one blood red blade in skinny clear water creeks or river.
I fish in the great lakes area. Water is gin clear up to 20ft. My favorite is green pumpkin with a 4inch powerbait smlt trailer. Can't beat it. My blades always matches the jig colour.
I don't have a favorite yet. I still have not caught a fish on one. I originally bought a chatterbait kit over 10 years ago and was disappointed when the skirt flew off during a cast. I recently bought some again but haven't had any fish on one yet. I also make a lot of my own tackle so I have some blades and have been making some with odd colored blades to try out.
I’m from Minnesota, it seems on Sunnier days. White blade, with chartreuse skirt is money. Other days. Gold with gill skirt, is go to. And if it’s dark, dark outside. Black with what ev blue combo yea have. Have any other suggestions?
This is insane either I’m reading your mind or your reading mine, bro it’s like you’re talking right to me. Copper one of my favorites. My favorite is whatevers on the dinner menu. You do a great job period bro thanks. I’m in 3rd season Bfl Buckeye as a co, we hit grand lake st Mary’s next week. Should be a blast can’t wait. Probably wont get to practice, no biggie I fish the moment anywho. Ok I’ll have a top water finesse rig, a wacky stick bait, jig to flip n skip, and another bait caster tbd. Lol probably spinner bait, I have all custom made from BassGrubb, my designs. I have a red and blue w matching blade, bladed jig, great on the Potomac. Good luck on the water. Peace and God Bless bro
Great video.. congrats on the new house and your 17K subscribers milestone Andrew. But you do need to get under Todd's skin more and get him "mad, mad"... :)
Lately I've been having really good luck with the jackhammer stealth blade in green pumpkin. Changing the trailer to imitate shad or bluegill. I have incredible confidence in a bluegill color black blade thunder cricket too though.
Right now I'm really digging the jackhammer stealth blade it's a white and silver kinds color pretty dope. But the blade is clear so obviously has nothing to do with this topic 😆😅
Love you and your tips but its kinda hard for me know and if you had any left over baits that would be nice but if not its cool and i hate to ask man but thanks anyway hope you win
