As a long-time Queen fan, I remember being completely blown away as an 11-year-old kid by Queen's original when it was first released. I just discovered Pentatonix during the pandemic, and when I found out they had done a Bohemian Rhapsody cover, I was VERY skeptical. But when I saw the video for the first time a few months ago, I was COMPLETELY (and very happily) blown away again! I've probably watched it 100 times since then and have continued to be completely mind-blown every time. I later found out that right after this was first released, Brian May himself shared it on every one of his social media platforms. What better confirmation, huh? I have a feeling that Freddie would have absolutely LOVED this!

Remember when you were going to listen to them for the first time. You couldn’t say their name correctly. I thought at that time “just wait, you will be a big fan of theirs”. I love how everything is a cappella, that is the best thing about them.

Surprised he didn't make a note on the guitar solo. To this day Penatonix is the only band I know of that has done a guitar solo acapela style.

It is fun to watch the Queen video and this one together. You can really see a lot of the work PTX went to in their tribute to Queen even down to the quadraphonic speaker effect.
