One of the best waxing tips I ever got was blend rub on cross country wax into your regular wax. The theory is that cross country skiing is generally done at slower speeds and flatter trails and this wax will keep you moving better on cat tracks or runs outs where it may be quite flat and difficult to generate speed.
The boarders vs skiiers thing is kinda corny, we’re both there for the same thing and that’s to shred and have a good time. But as a skier dear lord is it annoying to watch a group of rookie boarders heel edge down an entire face, turning it to an ice sheet
@@Murciielago lol, I just appreciate the simplicity. No, "you should be expert at carving, be able to handle steep inclines, and have control at high speeds..." Lol, but he is just like, "know how."
Yep. Someone once got in trouble for having THC in their system which is absurd. Asking snowboarders not to smoke weed is like asking cyclists not to dope.
Iam living in the alps and I always wanted to go to the US for snowboarding, On the other hand I was chucking beers riding down the mountains since Iam 16. Then I also see your lifts, the people and the prices and i think I probably just stay here...
I like skiers when they are doing tricks at the park our in the backcountry. I will always hate racing skiers, those slow rich guys with strange clothes and all the jerrys riding slopes the hole day. If been shredding since more then 20 years now, if been hit by skiers, loose skies and ski sticks so many times and thats also one reason why I quit skiing.
