I have two questions: 1. How is your camera footage so stable when you walk? Are you using a gimbal? I am thinking when you're throwing your camera around it's so stable! 2. Can you do a tutorial on how to make a simple preset? I vlog at home and would love to have a similar look to my vlog as you do in your home setup.

#1 in FCPX make compund of every clip, add comps to project and later you can add grade or audio correction to comp which will give you the same result as adding grade to master in PP. just remember to add +6dB to comps added to prject because fcpx lowers audio of comps by 6dB.

Oh dang! First you cut my editing time by 75%, and now I know about colouring the master! I've wondered if there's another way outside of adjustment layers or copy/pasting on the same stupid clip later in the timeline. Shoulda known since I use masters in InDesign all the time for my treatments... here you are literally saving me hours... again.

Michael W. Westbrook You can do it in the color wheels section. At the top it allows you to create a mask and then adjust the area like he did. Then you can “tell” it to adjust the inside and outside of the mask differently. ie teal and orange. I currently use filmora for video editing. How hard is it for a novice to switch to final cut? For reference, I gave up on adobe photoshop because I could not figure out how to use it. Will this be a similar experience? Thanks.

If you want to do something similar to Matti's "Master" tip in FCPX, you can create a compound clip for each clip before adding it to the timeline. That way each instance of the clip will change if you make changes within the compound clip!

3:09 Well, if you were a Davinci Resolve user, it's basic knowledge to be able to color grade selected clips by just select the clips you want to apply a grade to and then simply middle mouse wheel click on the clip you want to take the grade from.😜

If you are running more often, you should probably, (when possible of course) look up for the correct pronation control shoes for you, in the running stores normally you can make a test to know the correct pronation, the Stack Height and Heel-Toe Drop for you. A running shoe that doesn't fit right, will make your running experience painful. I learned that that hard way. Anyway, coolVlog, and good tip, so simple and so effective! cheers and be safe!

All you have to do in FCPx is color grade you footage then select the clip command C the select the clips you want to apply it to then shift command v select the color grade (or lut) the just push paste attributes...

Yea but that’s a lot slower and you have to find allllll the clips. Which could be dozens. Master you just apply it once and it finds all the clips and applies it.

Hey Matty, one common problem I see for achilies pain from running is over pronation from the foot, if you have dropped or weak arches and are running without enough support it can cause problems. Also remember to static stretch your calfs afterwards (hold for 30-60 seconds) and warm up before. If you need any more help drop me a msg 👍
