I would really love to see your own take on the version that includes at least one desert and the Invasion of Arcavios / Doppelgang combo. With Doppelgang strictly in sideboard only to avoid dead draws. The idea is that Arcavios fetches Doppelgang, and then Doppelgang copies Arcavios and the desert, starting a "go face loop" that provides both infinite mana AND infinite card advantage. If you want to speed things up, you can also include a single copy of Virtue of Knowledge: copying Virtue, Arcavios and a desert can easily spiral into something like 200-1000 triggers. It seems winmoar at first glance, but it's actually an incredible stalemate breaker.

I am top 50 mythic with Temur analyst, I play a roxanne for a similar reason, the meteor artifact is a good target for doppelgang, should my opponent exile my rages. I set up a loop of skyturtle/shigeki/Virtue of strength. Of course that is only good in very slow games, however roxanne is also just a good card for both ramping and board contesting

God playing this deck at the table would be so hard. Keeping up with the available mana and triggers seems almost impossible.

dimir control is the worst matchup for this reason, many people now maindecking 1 dopplegang for an alternative win con. but, dimir is still a real struggle even with it.. 40% WR or so. Sideboard also has a few fat creatures for alternative win cons, although tend to just get killed by dimir xD

Oh God, I hate that deck, I played in the store championship and they lost to it. I had her birth convoke which came in second place, but I ended up losing to that deck at some point. I did not like that.

Unfortunately the black version of the deck gets destroyed by counterspells and is even worse against rest in peace. The black version is a lot cooler though IMO.

@@lalosalamance1281instead of using blue for card draw, they run black with a new plot card that says sac any number of permanents and draw a card for each one sac-ed this way. They get rid of their lands, draw their whole deck, then use analyst or something to bring all their lands back. They use some other new black cards too

@@lancelee338 what’s the wincon? Is it outrageous robbery to mill your opponent or something? The one shot kill with the temur deck is wordsouls rage. I’d imagine without that it’d kind of break it. I tried a build with black that ran robbery but it wasn’t consistent because you can’t use it as removal as needed. It’s a dead card until you get the kill shot. I’m intrigued tho. Anywhere I can see decklist?

It’s Boring play against Raffine, contrôle blue counterspell, mono red, Boros too, i play with the version black red Green and it’s fun i take m’y revenge again all this deck ! It s very fun ! Impossible of play A deck for fun, players are sheep just look mono red…. 🤢🤮

Win or lose that match up feels like a huge waste of time. To make it worse if I remove their win cons from their deck they still make me watch them play 100 lands for 20 min just to cast the one card left in their deck before they lose. I sometimes just leave the match right away. Even though I regularly beat it.

i agree. i got three matches in a row against this deck. now if i see the opponent have this deck. i just surrender , doesn't worth 20 min of my life watching the opponent pulling more and more lands non stop and stalling the game healing. man, is so so boring to watch. i thought i wanted to make this deck but realized i don't want to play it to be honest
