I asked before if these fubara men get hardcopy evidence of that proceeding and if they can affirm that these guys wrote to pdp to resign their membership. All i got was insults. Chidi Lloyd 's statement, if ever confirmed true that the 27 former house members of Rivers State House of Assembly led by Martin Amaewule never moved from PDP to APC would be the most ridiculous and calous statement of the 21st century. Their defection from PDP to APC on the 11th Dec 2024 was not only well celebrated openly with APC flags in the hallowed Chambers of the Rivers State House of Assembly, but also affirmed by Affidavit evidence deposed to by them in the court of law. This act of perjury only affirm these desperate former law makers are not fit and proper persons to represent our precious Rivers State Atlantic level howsoever. A High court had earlier stated that those lawmakers had indeed defected and had lost their seats They should appeal the judgement instead of procuring a judgement from another High court. Wike and his gang are just being clever by half. If care is not taken, the turmoil in River State will sink Nigeria's democracy for good and these errand Judges must be held accountable.

The lawmakers are been pushed to their destruction and they are in for an endless court process which will last for four years. They decamped during plenary and all of them signed the document given reasons for camping. When they are ready the documents will be produced.

Let us remove emotions. The law makers did not approach the court but state government. They had no physical evidence to back their claims. They were not cards.carryjng members of APC. I am just laughing at APC members' comments here. Wike is just wasting his time. Both sides have gotten court orders to affirm their stands, the only court that has the final say in this case is the supreme court and it might take up to 5 years before the supreme court makes a final decision on this matter. At the main time, Fubara will remain the governor and will never release any funds to either the house members of the LGA chairmen, not even their salaries. The easier end to this is a political solution. Wike is just a sinking ship. Even if the case get to supreme court, it is still Justice Stella Odili that will sit on the case and she is the wife of Peter Odili the former governor. Just like she gave Bayelsa to PDP after APC Collected IMO that year, she can decide anything here, or even keep shifting it till after the 2027 election.

This is a substantive judgement. The other High Courts gave interim orders and interlocutory injunctions. The substantive judgement supercedes all those interim orders and can only be set aside by the Court of Appeal.

There is a subsisting interlocutory court order, ban Martins and co from parading themselves as lawmakers or holding any meetings in anywhere in Rivers State. Let them go and appeal against that order o. Another State High Court order cannot supercede another State High Court order o.
