@@jad43701I didn't think they even still allowed for intergender matches anymore. They're allowed to have like a female on female and a male on male tag-team, but the women are not allowed to wrestle the guys. Yet they're allowed to do the same training the guys do and they're usually present when the guys train for the pro scene.

I broke my tibia and fibula from doing a standing full next to a fire pit in my backyard and my left leg landed on the pit and it snapped, watching anything with legs is ominous to me
You know, when I was 13 or 14, I'd probably like this shit. Now as a 31 year old, all I think about is how there's probably no story or pacing in these matches. Time flies when your tastes change.
@@chrisfaust2035A lot of the Japanese wrestlers are respected. Unfortunately on the women's side, I've learned more recently that the women's side are not a WE thing but more or less a ME thing and trying to impress someone, like a higher-up boss or or a Senpai (someone elder but still in the same age group and who is someone they'd look up to), so there's always that added impact for the women's side. There's also obviously a big thing of the shoot style in Japan still, where if you are in a match and you botch a few moves, they may just start stiffing you and beating you up for that.
Lol those commentators. Keeping it real always made me laugh. If I ever decided on not wanting to do police work anymore and decided something equally dangerous, I wouldn't mind trying my hands at pro wrestling. As long as I made my way up the promotion ranks.

Everytime I tell myself "I wanna be a wrestler in the future" I always see these videos and worry that this is everything in the independent scene, and I won't make it out alive.

@Bronco Balboa not everything is about whether or not you've seen something worse. Some things catch you off guard, it's the sound the moment itself or maybe who took the bump.
I love a good hardcore/deathmatch contest as much as the next guy but Joey Janela's flaming superkick spot made me chuckle from how stupid it looked, fire ain't a good worker, it's always gonna go into business for itself.
True. Just something about that. If I ever were to not want to be a policeman anymore and wanted to do something slightly less dangerous, I'd definitely try my hand at pro wrestling. I'm a green belt in judo and karate with over a decade of training (albeit I stopped training full time when I was 17) and so I would know how to throw someone and be thrown and know how to take a throw. It's definitely looks like fun and good cardio in there.

These guys are risking their own health and others for 50 dollars and 75 people watching. I went to a lot of independent wrestling in the 90s… They didn’t have to do any of this.

Bojack is a local worker here in SC and NC. In my opinion not that good. Granted he clipped White Mike with his leg but yeah. It was a little dumb to have won off of that.
