Proactive Struggle: Gaining Divine Support through Service and Humility

As a result of serving, you gain the gaze of the Kingdom’s occupants 10:21 Big or small doesn’t matter, do good for ourselves and then try to inspire others to join in 13:08 It’s not about everyone saying ‘yes’ to you but how many times you got back up and struggled 14:13 How shaykhs in olden times humbled their students by having them ask people for support 15:14 The shaykh is able to attract people’s support by his life of service and humiliation 15:45 The main ingredient of success in reaching Divine Presence is service 16:30 When you serve and walk in the Shaykh’s footsteps, you understand how much he struggled to get to where he is now 18:14 Don’t just accept the difficulty given to you, be proactive, do more and struggle through it!

Holding our deen should be like a hot coal, fighting our ego and living a life of service. Don't place importance on our actions and ibadah because then we become prideful, but it is the khidmat that saves us and brings Rahmah. We're trying to be employed by the Kingdom. Our life is to serve, and when we serve the Kingdom, everyone in it dresses us with their Holy Nazar. The path is to be humiliated which makes Allah (AJ) happy and purifies the heart. Alhamdulillah, always a good reminder to be proactive, and if there is difficulty, it means there is a deficiency in our practices, our understanding or our khidmat.
