Hi guys! My son just had a guided growth surgery to improve his bowed legs due to his dwarfism and I decided to sit down and talk a little bit about our experience. Thank you for watching and thank you for your support.
I had similar operation and its imperative he walks. It's so painful, I won't lie but children are more resilient than us and I was a lot older. This type of operation wasn't available when I was a child. It will all be worth it. Everybody in life are sent challenges and we grow stronger from them. His parents and siblings adore him, he has a nanny in heaven surrounding him in love and warmth and a granny who stays often and her constant care, love and reassurance to the whole family is comforting ❤🎉
Kairo, Xavier and Aurora are your babies, in your eyes they will always be your babies and you want the very best for them. This is the first time one of your babies has needed a surgery and for Kairo it may not be the last but it is necessary for him to have a better gait which he will have now. This will be a big improvement for him, he's tougher than you know, he's going to surprise you all. The children already have excellent parents they are ahead of the game 😊 Yours is a reality channel and you do not shy away from the reality, we appreciate it and I, for one, understand that it's not all sunshine and roses. This is life, thank you for sharing yours.

It’s so hard on us when one of our children are in pain or knowing what they must go through. My daughter is in her 30’s and has to have several more surgeries she has had one already. But I still worry about her. Your an amazing mom and your son seem healthy and strong. He’ll get through this.

Cairo, you are an absolute STAR! Look at YOU, soldiering on, what a superhero! You guys, as parents are doing a fantastic job, I remember my son, breaking 2 arms at school, grade 3, had to be re broken and set in plaster, He was off school for 2 months, we homeschooled and NEVER went back. He has just completed Year 12 and, with honours. Much love to you both xo
Awe that must have been so hard. My daughter was suppose to need a surgery but things self corrected in time (different surgery) but I remember being sick to my stomach thinking she needed it. Your so strong and you did good for your son. Prayers that he will have a speedy recovery.
Thankful to know that Cairo is recovering from his recent surgery. I feel like I am a close an distant family friend and I am definitely interested in knowing how all of you are feeling. Elana thank you for sharing with us. We are your family and support system. You focus on your family and share your life with us as, your second family. Everything is going to be alright. He has two loving parents that show him a lot of love. He will heal fast based on that.
Im glad he was feeling good enough to walk the next day, thats wonderful! Elena please don't feel guilty for all the diagnoses Kairo has, I know it is the standard thing for us mothers to feel guilty. You are a very loving mom that have a child with special needs, which is nobody's fault (all families have different struggles, no family is free of problems every now and then or constantly) and with all your love, patience and support Kairo is going to overcome all the challenges that now are in front of him. Children are resilient, and we waste so much energy and time worrying and wondering when times get though (I know this very well as this was me years ago). I suggest you have lots of faith, pray and declare the best for your children and you will see overtime how Kairo gets better every day in all areas and all the challenges are a thing from the past. Also leave tomorrow problems for tomorrow. Better times are coming!

Aww sending prayers for Cairo and your family. It's the worst thing for a parent to try to stay sane when your child is in such agony. Major props to you Elena for explaining to him what the surgery was for and how he would be and feel afterwards. I hope he is recovering quickly. 😘

I have prayed for all of you & you are both good parents. I am so happy he had the surgery he needed. It's so awful for him to go through that surgery. But, it was the necessary to better his life. Your kids are beautiful kids & will have good futures ahead. I pray that he recovers quickly with as little of pain as possible. Pray & I prayed for him! He will be wonderful...you will see. Children are so resilient Cairo will be up and about very soon , you won't be able to keep up with him soon . So don't beat yourself up with guilt , your doing this for you boys health you and Preston are such good parents so try not to worry , your all in my prayers and if you want a cry you blubber away girl
