I got one and it was rough with a lot of duplicates (got 3 of the same bad golgari). This product felt so bad it stopped me from buying other sealed product as I just felt so robbed by it... got mine at $52.
The quality of the cards has dropped a lot over the years and the newer ones feel "cheap" and "off" to me compared to the old ones. If these cards felt cheap and different compared to even the recent cards, then that is horrible and I can't even imagine how cheap they would feel. The fact that this isn't an expansion set is no excuse to drop the quality even further. Most people don't care, but the quality of the cards is important to me. Especially with how expensive every product has become compared to what you get from it. If anything, it's sad.
I have no clue (no pun intended) why they didn't just do 10 packs, 1 for each guild. I'm just annoyed cause the good original designs are going to have that MAT effect and be either needlessly expensive or worthless.
I will say that all of the clue cards are legal in eternal formats. Also, you were putting at least 2 creatures each that were mixed in with the lands in every pack. (I saw at least Beast Whisperer in there)
So they renamed the shitty theme packs "jumpstart", bc jumpstart is an actual good product. Now that that name has failed, we need a new name to "hide" this kind of product under? Horrible. I was intrigued by this at first. Shame.
