The AZ issue is smelling ugly, doc. Also politicized as far as I can see. This game is wrong and stupid. There’s absolutely no reason for the AZ hold ups. 😡
Following the Doc's previous video about concerns over blood clots, I looked at the CDC report on blood clots in the general population and did the similar maths that Dr John did. Again the reported number of clots in vaccinated people is significantly lower than would be expected in the population at large. Do the school kid maths yourself if you don't believe me. www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/dvt/data.html
To save you doing the maths yourselves... 2 per 1000 per year in the general population at large =2000 per m per year =167 per m per month 30 blood clots noted from 5m vaccinated persons even though link not proven
Love Susan, so bubbly and friendly😁love her little dog too🐾🐾thankyou John, very sad situation in Europe, if Germany are reluctant to use the astrazeneca why don't they give it too a country that would be so grateful. I'm so pleased the UK are not stopping any vaccines🙏🙏stay safe Dr John🌷xxxx

Vaccine snobbery - good grief! I’m just happy to have started the process, never got offered a choice. Got the jab for myself and for others. Am so fed up of these lockdowns just want some sort of normality to life.
I am one of those snobs. I've already had COVID, so I do have some immunity to the disease already. Now I want the best possible vaccine (i.e., Pfizer or Moderna) to help me handle any new variants.
Why do you think lock downs will end because you've had the gene therapy? Are you under the impression that your "vaccination" covers you for ALL strains? JFC man, they don't even 100% cover you for one strain. You've just risked long term neurodegenerative disease for nothing.
Dr. John, you may have missed a day of reporting during the last year, but I hadn't noticed any lapse. I was worried when you didn't report yesterday, but here, today March 15, you recorded twice. So. I'm reassured! Be well, you have been a trusted interpeter of these troubled times for so many of us.
Dr Campbell, Thank you for your ongoing coolness and sticking to the facts while reporting objective findings. Here in Virginia US, things started picking up on speed and mass vaccination sites are extremely well organized and VERY efficient. In general anyone who has been given an opportunity to get vaccinated jumps on it without any hesitance. Those who “know it better” are left alone and hopefully they will come around.... In my humble opinion it would be shame to die when the light at the end of tunnel is soooo close. Older people who have been fully vaccinated can see their grandchildren and families without the fear of dying . You can feel the excitement and wonderful hopeful energy everywhere you look. I wish all of you to experience it too in the near future. Margaret Gora
Dr. John, I'm happy to report that on Dr. Oz's American TV show this morning he broadcast a segment about how important vitamin D is and how people with higher levels of D do better when they get covid. He gave away a quarter million bottles of vitamin D supplement today on his program. Finally, the word is getting out.
Thank you as always for providing us with the most up-to-date, reliable, science-based analysis and news! I appreciate your daily efforts. Best of health to you and yours.
For your next video you will be talking about the AZ vaccine being stopped in other countries......is there any data yet on blood clots for the other vaccines? It may help put things in perspective. I feel pretty sure that there will be some; simply due to the natural occurrence of such clots with or without the vaccine. No evidence of causation yet I feel.
I rarely comment on stuff online BUT.......thank you for providing truth and clarity. We really do appreciate your videos which we watch every day without exception. Keep sake .
We are holding strong here in Cz, people follow the rules. We dream to have everything opened and we are exhausted of the lockdown but we appreciate that we are all 5 healthy and also grandparents. Health is all that matters. I pray for the medical staff every day, is extremely hard for them. Not for me, we just have to stay locked and follow the ruls. We are blessed with a small garden. Boys really miss their friends but we hold on and hope for better days. Having a sibling really helps these days, the relation between our 3 boys became so strong, thye have each other no matter what
In Romania today people from the general population (no restrictions) could put themselves on a waiting list for the vaccine. I just put me and my dad a few hours ago 🙂 I live near a small city and there are not many people on the waiting list, so I hope I can get vaccinated in early April. The center closest to me vaccinates with Pfizer so I guess I am gonna take that one. I am really happy with the vaccination programme in Romania to be honest. There were 3 stages 1) doctors and medical staff 2) people in risk categories and essential administration 3) general population. The campaign was well mediatized and people had acces to the information. The online platform works well. I should have been vaccinated in the 2nd stage as a teacher but my university did not do the necessary steps, so not mad at the programme itself. Since I am not that much exposed yet, I was happy to also wait.
I'd rather take my chances with covid than risk a vaccine. I've read many vaccine Injury reports, and obviously there's a reason Pharma is indemnified.
@@OceanFrontVilla3 Everyone has a choice :) I have also read a bit into some reports, but didn't seem like the risks are so high. I am not looking it at it as the risk of the vaccine vs the risk of the virus. With the current virus strains and my age/health maybe the vaccine has a higher risk :? But I want to be immune to protect those around me, and I also see it as a step towards less restrictions and I see it as my social responsibility 🙂 That is just the way I see things. I am not saying vaccines are risk free, I am just making the choice for myself to get vaccinated regardless of the risks cause I feel it's the decision best aligned with my values and goals. It's aligned with my values due to being the socially responsible thing, and aligned with my goals because I want to move abroad this year and I am thinking it's gonna be a lot harder without being vaccinated 🙂
The Dutch absolute numbers are mainly going up because a lot more people are getting tested. A few weeks ago about 12 to 13% of all people tested were getting positive test results. Right now it's down to about 6 to 7% of all tested people getting positive results. That does not mean that more Dutch people are infected, there just are more infected people actually being tested, compared to before.
Its a biological weapon.. did you not know its a pathogenic primer to kill you. You need to stop watching the BBC. Oh did you not know your insurance is now void as you got deceived into participating in an illegal medical experiment.
Thanks for the additional information about the AstraZeneca vaccine. A news item today said that the US is set to buy a half million doses of it. In my case, this is moot. I got my second dose of the Moderna vaccine four days ago. I've been watching your channel since Jan. 2020. Thank you for your continuing flow of reliable information.
I'm in Germany for over 3 months now and whilst I was elated in Dec and Jan, I am now feeling ashamed to see my birth nation fail so misersbly, getting lost in bureaucracy. Nobody seems to get the big picture anymore. How does it make sense to pull the AZ vaccine today because of 40 or so people out of over 5 million vaccinated persons having thrombosis, whilst hundreds will now die because of the suspension??? Has Jens Spahn lost his mind??? I'm equally embarrassed as I am fuming to witness this incompetence! 😵
From the biggest norwegian newspaper: On Saturday, it became known that three health workers had been admitted to Oslo University Hospital with a blood clot after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine. - One of these is dead, says medical director Steinar Madsen at a press conference on Monday afternoon. It is emphasized that this is a rare disease picture. - They have a very unusual combination of with low platelet counts, blood clots in small and large vessels, as well as bleeding. Some cases of similar disease have been reported in several other European countries. The European Medicines Agency EMA is reviewing similar adverse reaction reports in Europe to see if these cases may be related to the vaccine, says Madsen. - Those who have become ill have received one dose, Madsen says after questions from the press. Admitted one week after vaccination Chief physician Trine Kåsine at the intensive care unit at Oslo University Hospital states that the deceased patient is under 50 years of age and that she was admitted to a local hospital on Thursday last week. - It was a week between vaccination and admission to a local hospital. Then it takes a day and a half at a local hospital before she comes to Rikshospitalet. The patient appeared to be "about healthy" from before. - Unfortunately, she had such a big event in her brain, so life could not be saved. She died yesterday. She received all the intensive care we could give at Rikshospitalet, says chief physician Kåsine.
Italy's taking a beating. Feel lucky at the moment in the US. New Mexico has a mandatory 14 day isolation period for visitors, which I think is unusual policy for a state. Also, Silver City, a place I visited yesterday, has a legal mask mandate, indoor and out. It was startling to see, but I welcome this type of policy. Stay safe in Europe!
3 days after the Astrazenica (Covidshield since that is what Canadians got). It feels exactly as I felt with both of my pregnancies. I’m exhausted with a queasy stomach and I have a headache. It feels like morning sickness. If I didn’t know better I would swear I was pregnant.
Thank you Dr. Campbell for your clear and comprehensive reviews of the current Covid-19 situation in the UK, the rest of Europe. Grateful also for the Australian update. Does the scope of your work allow you to include reviews of the status in the Caribbean? I am writing to you from the island of Jamaica.
Ooh, the UK does a lot of sequencing. What about developing vaccines? One, the Oxford/AZ (to which the USA kicked in $2bn for R&D but hasn't approved for use). Meanwhile, the USA: Moderna, Pfizer (a partnership), Johnson&Johnson and the forthcoming Novavax.
I think the money that the US put in for the Oxford/AZ was to fund US clinical trials, not for R&D. No US funding is mentioned in the papers published so far on non-US trials.
Thank you for sharing the numbers about thrombosis and embolism events, very reassuring! It showed that those who had the AZ vaccine were less likely to have an embolism, than would normally have been expected. If the correlation proves correct, it would mean that having the AZ vaccine not only protects against the virus, but also reduces the risk of embolisms.
It's understandable from the German point of view. As most vaccines are only approved as a 2-dose application by the EMA. So half of the stock has to kept back for the second shot, because of the uncertainty of supplies in 6-8 weeks. That way there is a guaranteed second shot for those who had the first shot, otherwise the immunizations isn't complete (as seen by the EMA and the PEI). The UK has opted for a one-shot vaccination policy and hopes to give the second shot 12 weeks later, if supplies permit this. It's a gamble the UK is willing to take. I'm not the judge to which strategy is the right one. But I'm pretty sure that neither the UK nor Germany acts out of incompetence or malice. But I AM sure that we as European countries (and bare with me if I include the UK, because it's part of the family ... even if it has moved out of the shared family home) have to redefine our strategic interests and become more self sufficient in strategic competencies and manufacturing capabilities.
Thank you. I am now wondering after an acquaintance got sick and requested a COVID test and the physician refused to do the test ! What is going on!? Is this a lack of testing? Is this why America appears better than Europe? We also have a major influx across the Mexican border and these poor souls are not being tested. If the Brazilian variant is not here, I suspect it will be in short order.
It is important to remember that the longevity and variant efficacy for all of these vaccines is unknown. Likely going to need and update in the future. As to the UK, it’s coming off a very bad outbreak therefore comparisons may not be valid.
Are they telling people who have already had Covid to still get the vaccine? Also isn’t it better immunity to get a viruses that have the vaccine (for the people who have already as it )
I live in Ontario, Canada. I don't think Canada is going to win the game of vaccine chicken with the UK variant. Cases are already starting to rise per day at a shocking slope. I'm getting nervous...
@@MRAROCKERDUDE I also live in and EU country don't think that everyone thinks like English speakers. The vast majority back the EU's decision to help all Europeans
A lot of people I have spoken to over the last two or three weeks have complained of nasty side effects following vaccination. Many feel really very ill, some for two or three days, and some for up to a week obliging them to take to their sick bed. When I ask which vaccine they received it is ALWAYS those who had the AstraZenica vaccine who have suffered. No-one I've spoken to who had the Pfizer jab seems to have had any problems. Some people I know who've had the AstraZenica jab have not had any problems but my impression is that they are v much a minority. Add in the apparently odd behaviour of foreign governments in suspending use of the AstraZenica jab and I think we can expect some further revelations regarding this vaccine.
Could someone explain this to me please: according to the MHRA report there has been many deaths shortly after vaccination (within 7 days) but they are not supposedly always linked to the vaccine and are seen as 'normal' because they often happen in elderly people with health problems. Yet, statistics about Covid deaths always involve people dying within 28 days of ' testing' positive (whether true or false positive); a large majority of the deaths occur in elderly or sick people (please correct me if wrong) and they might have died of anything but as long as there was a positive test, the deaths are attributed to Covid. So why are not the same criteria applied to deaths within 28 days of vaccination? Surely, the authorities and pharma wouldn't want to mislead the population and scare them into getting vaccinated, would they? Surely not. 🤔🤔
Hi, talks of Geert Vanden Bossche’s perspective on vaccinations are recently making waves around the internet. Can you shed some light on the truth surrounding his argument?
@@fatbelly27 very very very hot! My air con on some days couldn’t cope, and then on the hottest day the power went out for about 4 hrs it was deadly hot.
What do you think about this interview where a Belgian vaccine developer is questioning not the efficacy of the vaccine in and of itself but the timing of the mass vaccine plan across the world. He posits that the mass vaccination is actually causing an explosion of new more contagious and deadly variants. Please listen to this 42 minute video. He has also published a paper.
What do those who have had first injection of AZ do about their second dose if it is determined that AZ has blood clot problems and should not have the second injection as of yet. Can another injection be given of another brand. Ahuge amount of us are left hanging and worrying about getting the second vaccine that at this point may have serious adverse effects. Can we take another vaccine or do we start all over again with a completely vaccine. I am so worried I take clotting medications because I make clotts. This is very worrying
Had second jab as did mother in law on Friday..both in 80s. Can say neither of us had any reaction to both first or second jabs. Pfizer. Not even a sore arm.
@Denise Skinner You must be pretty lonely if you have time to leave over a thousand comments on this site alone. I find it sad that this is all you have in life. You should direct your energy into finding a job.
Hi John. I very much appreciate your updates and the information they contain. I read with interest your discussion concerning the Astra Zeneca vaccine and the reported thromboembolic episodes that some have linked to the vaccine. I understand that these events are very common in the general population, and that the incidence of them following vaccination with the AZ vaccine is no greater than might occur in an unvaccinated group. However, if these events are a normal occurrence with a predictable rate, it would suggest that embolic episodes would also have occurred in the groups vaccinated with the other vaccines. I have seen no mention of this in relation to the, eg, Pfizer vaccine. Given that the distribution of the different vaccines is entirely random, and thus that the different vaccine groups will be very similar, why do you think that reports of embolic episodes is, apparently, confined the the group receiving the AZ vaccine? I would be interested in your opinion. Best wishes
So a pertinent follow on question regarding the fact that these events have actually been lower in the vaccinated population than expected in an unvaccinated group, is what sort of numbers of these events have been observed with the Pfizer vaccine or other Covid vaccines. If they are similar or even higher (e.g. in line with normal chance) why are they only being reported in for the AZ vaccine.

Dr John is wrong about Zoe symptom tracker app being similar to the official ONS figures, that is not true anymore. ONS is about 40% to 50% higher, which could all be asymptomatic, but it seems high.
Scottish FM Coronavirus briefing just gave latest Scottish numbers. I am a little concerned by the lack of improvement in the Glasgow local authority area although surrounding counties are doing better. This also. seems to be a general problem in larger UK cities
UK, South Africa, Brazil. Is there something about the location that prompts a variant to emerge? Or is it just the location where a random variant was first discovered? Is it possible for the same variant to evolve at the same time but in different locations?
Brazil's lack of concern means a large base of infected people, a large rate of further infections and this means a high probability of new variants and recombinations being developed. As we know that travel restrictions such as quarantines are poorly implemented, Brazil's denial of the disease does risk the world.
More people infected, more virus replication going on. More virus replication, more virus mutations happening. More virus mutations, higher chance of a nasty new variant escaping the vaccines and spreading throughout the world.

I had the Astra Zeneca last Monday and it hasn’t stopped raining since not sure I am going to have the second one if that’s what happens when you have it.
Here in Germany, the authorities are upset that the infections didn't book their appointment three months in advance, nor provide reams of physical paper documents on demand.
Im also upset that the numbers are rising here, just because of stupidity of the people. Rules so damn simple but a couple people seem to be egoistic and only focused on their own .. well, what theyd call "freedom".

Honestly, it's just sad that scientists hard work is being questioned so much. They have been working hard in the labs to create the vaccine, so it just seems sad for them. Those vaccine scientists are so badly overlooked in this pandemic. The doctors and nurses are being congratulated, and rightly so, but let us remember the scientists working hard in the labs to find a cure for diseases and vaccine for this virus.

That's why the EC failed politicians like von der Leyen are getting nastier by the day as they panic.
Is it only me or does anyone else find it odd that the only vaccine to be getting this sort of coverage is the one made by the company that stated it WOULDN'T MAKE A PROFIT on their vaccine whilst the pandemic was ongoing ? Also no mention of the same data for any of the other vaccines by comparison in any of the reports. Just a couple of random thoughts. Had my AZ vaccine last Thursday, injection site a little sore for about 12 hours afterwards and nothing else. Stay safe all.
You are not alone. Rubbish this extremely cheap vaccine and the other vaccines sell more. AZ promised to sell their vaccine at cost price for the duration of the pandemic and the EU beat the price down to £1.61 per dose which must be at a loss.
As a resident of Brazil, it's good to hear that European countries aren't using their Astrazeneca vaccine. Hopefully they can send it over here... we can't get enough!

AZ is different to the others, which are MRNA delivering genetic material. AZ is considerably cheaper, I think you're bang on the money (no pun intended)
Wow well sorry to burst your comfort bubble but you've just exposed yourselves to prions. The spike produced by the vaccine (as well as the one on the actual virus) has a prion genesis site (as identified by g and v tetz in their paper a year ago). Read up on prions. I can link you to the tetz paper if you're thinking I'm some crackpot. You can read their conclusion yourself.

Southerns UK: My local GP is calling in over 40s from today. They expect 3000 doses of AZ to be available for their vaccination clinics on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It does feels like UK is moving from the supply being the constraint to the available recipients being the constraint. Even this last weekend when I was vaccinated, I heard that the volunteers on the door had been told not to refuse any patients who turned up irrespective of age. Which is surely a sign that they had more vaccine than they expected to get through.

Thanks again (and again) Dr Campbell, I watch every single presentation, it's one of the few lines of info. that I feel I can trust, as a laymen you make things so easy and clear to understand, we should all be very grateful for your time putting everything together, I'll guess that not many realize just how much time and effort is required to collect and collate everything never mind then presenting this clearly to camera, something I personally will be always grateful for, so please keep going, I think we'd be somewhat lost without your extremely valuable contributions, again Dr Campbell, THANK YOU.
I am in the UK and aged 54. I have today, booked my vaccination for tomorrow via the government website. So happy and feeling excited, can't wait til tomorrow!
@@sonyaoz9328 I'm not interested in her, just looked her up on Wikipedia and she is anti-vaccine. Having been seriously ill with whooping cough because I didn't have vaccination as a child - I am pro-vaccine for myself.
@@catkin-z8g ? Whooping cough is a bacteria but there still a vaccine for it. Shingles is a virus, there’s a vaccine for it. Vaccines exist for virus and bacterial illnesses
@@catkin-z8g Thanks for the information. Apologies if I didn't explain myself, but I wasn't talking about the 'type' of vaccine, just that having had whooping cough very badly as a child because I didn't have the vaccine, I wanted to have this vaccination because I don't want to be seriously ill with Coronavirus. Another person who had replied before you had suggested I check out a doctor who is anti-vaccine and I was letting them know that I am pro-vaccine, for me. Many thanks.
@@mikeoglen6848 Good question! The accusation 'perpetrators' sounds like the squeal of an anti-vaxer! But it could also just be very poor wording, meant to accuse the bureaucratic bungles of perpetrating the failures on the EU because their bungling is delaying vaccine delivery that is saving lives.
Well when you consider the WHO headed up the wuhan laboratory "investigation🤭" team with Peter Daszak - the very same Peter Daszak that funded and over saw the production of, and implementation of gain of function in sars-cov-2, you have to be just a tad cynical about these supranational unelected bodies.
If that quote from Italy's 'La Republica' about pioneers being surrounded by Indian waiting for the 7th Cavalry made it to print in Canada or the US, it would start a 'woke' storm resulting in the writer and the editor being fired on the spot.
When Astra Zeneca vaccine has suspension lifted in two weeks you will find it helps protect against Kent/ English variant. Sorry to read things bad in Poland wishing you well. Take care 😊
As they would have been 50 years ago if anyone had 'tested'. It does nothing to improve peoples health. It just provides some numbers to justify attacking peoples lives using. it is unbelievable what you have done.
