Hey, although I'm a motion designer with almost 8 yrs of experience in that field, I've just stumbled upon your channel and immediately fell in love with it. You're awesome, thank you so much for your hard work!
I have seen a lot of tutorials and no to disrespect the other creatives whos videos I love, I must say your videos compelled me strongly to leave a message because I just loveeee how you explained every single part of the video, it was clear, fluid, and so easy. I have seen a lot of videos and your moved me enough to take 5 mins of my time to write down what an amazing job ur doing.
I don't mind you dissing other youtubers. NAME THEM, NAME THEM. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Really makes it worthwhile knowing people get something out of these videos : )
Cheers legend! This is an incredible tutorial. 1 question though, how would you re use in the same project, As when I duplicate the whole group, they are still dependent on the originial comp 01 put image, not the Comp 01 in the new group. For example if i wanted to create a carrot and a cabbage, how would i do this as seperate comps?
A few ways: 1. You could use a script like true comp duplicator (available on AE scripts) 2. Have multiple projects and pull them all together. For example, one for the carrot, one for the cabbage. You can rename maybe just the master comps, and then import them all into one master project. 3. Just have one long timeline for all your assets and use timeline markers to make it easy to see what is what
Amazin video! Beginner in AE, I do have a question, how do I reuse this effect with several images without having them replace each other? I have only figured out how to use the effect on one image only.
You can have multiple images in the same intial first comp where I put the badminton player. Just trim the in/out points as you wish so they don't sit on top of one another
if you'd want to make moving animation using this effect, do you have to go through to this tedious process for each frame, or is there a way to imply all effects from the first frame for each consequent ones?
Haha "tedious"? Well yes I suppose you're right. Did you watch the whole video? I thought it was obvious that once you've done the tedious part it outputs a completely different frame
@@TheVideoShopLondon how can I make that shadows are following exactly. I animated the subject but shadow follows them very dealyed. I played with some numbers in timing in turbulant displace but that does not exactly works
You might need to update your After Effects. Pickwhip trackmatting is a fairly recent addition. You can still work around this in ae2022 but you don't have the option of matting multiple layers to a single layer (using trackmatting - there are other ways). Always more than one way to do things in AE
Why do you have to cut to a movie clip every 2 seconds? It makes your videos hard to watch and distracting for anyone who actually wants to learn anything from them. It's like trying to teach when you're shining a light in someone's face.
