This video walks you through some of the conceptual bases behind first-stage moderated mediation and then demonstrates how you can test for moderated mediation using a Do-file that I have created.
All analyses were performed using Stata version 17
Download a copy of the dataset used in the demo here: drive.google.com/file/d/1aj1u...
Download the do-file here: drive.google.com/file/d/1pwfi...

Fantastic, thank you so much. I find both the video and do-file to be extremely helpful. Really appreciate it.

Hi. Thank you so so much! This is very helpful! I wonder if you can demonstrate how to do second-stage moderated mediation in Stata? Thank you!!
@wilzondizon
Thank you very much for such an amazing video and code work. I would like ask how are the variables be ordered for a second-stage moderated mediation? Thank you so much!

Hi Mike, thanks for the video. Is this also possible with Y as a count variable?

that is a perfect video. Thank you so much. May I ask is there any published research that I can cite about this econometric calculations?

Hi Mike, thank you so much for all your videos. I'm looking to test a mediation with a moderator at both the first and second stage, and the data I have are hierarchical (people within states). Does the approach you recommend in these video work for hierarchical data as well? My predictor is Level 2 and the moderator, mediator, and outcome are Level 1. Thank you!

Hi Mike, thank you for this video. I was wondering if you have info on how to do a second-stage moderation in STATA as well (Hayes process macro 14 or 15). I'm really lost on how to do this tbh, as I also have panel data. Hope you can help me out here. Thanks!

Hi Mike, thanks for the video. However, I am wondering whether this approach does also work for panel data?

Hi Mike,
@Mj.bidgoli
Thank you so much Mike! I was wondering if we had categorical variables (SES). I added "i". but that doesn't work for factor variables here.

What changes to the do-file would we need if we are using multiple imputation rather than listwise deletion for missing data?

Hi Mike , thanks alot for the video. But would be grateful if you can share a STATA do file on similar work(video) where the independent, the dependent and the mediation variables are all latent variables and the moderator variable been observed. Thank you .
