This is a very funny and relatable skit! It shows you that we shouldn’t always “listen to our inner voices.” It also has a great message at the end, which reminds me of what Grandmother Willow said: “Sometimes, the right path is not the easiest one.” 🙂

You went from making me laugh to hitting me right in the feels. As a writer, I definitely understand that fear... the first book I tried to write I wasn't able to get published. No one wanted it. I've been trying to write another story, but that fear keeps coming back... But you are absolutely right: there is no success without the risk of failure, and I've got to remember that. Keep making awesome content, and let's remember that the only true failure is never trying.

2:09 As a side note, I've found that saving things to my "Watch later" playlist has been helpful with not getting distracted by videos. Then when I actually have time and can't find anything to watch I have a whole backlog of videos to choose from.

You have no idea how relatable this is. And what scares me most is procrastination wins 70% percent of the time. I try to get things done, and I have the motivation to do it, but then a video shows up and then I start with one video and keep watching and watching. Then I realize 3 hours have passed because of it. Self control is tough for me which is why I need friends to help me to get things done. There are times I do get things done and it's great, however the fear is there if my video is it good enough, will people watch it or even care? Or am I being lazy with this video before the deadline or should a make it look more fun but miss the deadline..... So many things go through my head, but the worse voice in my head is..... "hey I'm hungry, where are my snacks?".....yeah I love food and it's hard to resist good snacks. Thank you Brian for this video. You made so many points in just one video. You were not just funny, you were frustrated, and compassionate with your message. I felt them all and it was amazing. Some people make videos that are only to make people laugh, or have a good message, or have people ranting and getting frustrated. You had more in this video which made me feel like I am not alone in this. As a fellow RU-vidr, I want to take risks and do funny, and fun projects, but real life takes control of me most of the time. Working an outside job, making sure I work enough to pay rent (which is now a struggle because they cut my hours), to remember to eat healthy food not just junk, and making time for my friends is already overwhelming for me. But Brian you always make me smile and laugh in your videos and this one did the same. Your words are so encouraging to me that it helps me remember why I do RU-vid in the first place. It was always you who gave me the drive to continue to do the things I love on RU-vid. Making people laugh smile and share things that they love and enjoy. Thank you Brian for being you, don't ever change. God has given you a great gift that you share with the world which makes it brighter. Please keep doing what you do and may God bless you and the ones you love and care. Thank you Brian for being you, cause that's what I love about you. 🙂

I don't think that I've ever related to a video more than I did just now. I'm a very small creator and I defiantly can relate to the pressure to get out a video, even when you've only got a limited audience, I can only imagine the stress that comes with a large channel like yours. Just know no matter how low your views may dip there will always be those of us who watch your videos regularly just because they bring a smile to our faces :)
