James I need to let you know how much your tutorials have meant to me these past few months. I used to be so artsy growing up and in my teens, but at some point my mental health took a huge blow and for years I haven't been able to get back into the hobby. I'd sketch things and be too repulsed by my lack of skill, or too anxious to even start. I have a literal closet full of half-painted canvases and discarded ideas. I found my old sketchbooks from my youth and was heartbroken to see how often I used to doodle for fun, compared to how art-free my adulthood has been. I first started watching your vids to help with insomnia, and they helped me work up the courage to buy an iPad + procreate. I draw every day now, even if it's just some shitty doodles. If I start to feel choked up with artist block, I follow one of your tutorials to the T and it melts away the uncertainty. I seriously don't know if there are words to describe how grateful I am - your videos helped me find a piece of my soul I didn't know I was missing. Thank you. 💙

You must have stone and bricklaying in your DNA as well as carpentry - well done. One could almost say you work in the shadows but no, you know how to use shadowing to make your work just pop out in the right way. You teach such great techniques in drawing - thanks so much.
