Absolutely. I can't put into words, how badly it fucked me up, when I heard the news yesterday. Besides his classic work on the Mobb Deep albums, his Infamous Life book was incredible, along with all of his solo albums. Anyone who hasn't listened to his new 'The Hegelian Dialectic' album.... I highly, highly recommend & praise this album. It's his Magnum Opus, and 1 of the most brilliant albums I've ever heard in my life. It's on a whole other level. We lost a true revolutionary yesterday. P was the truth. And I'm not buying what the media is saying, about the cause of his death. They went from saying he died because of complications with his Sickle Cell, to switching it up & saying he choked on food. Kind of ironic considering he released The Hegelian Dialectic, which spoke a lot of truth & the fact that he was working on a project about The Illuminati Ball, which would have dove even deeper into exposing all of the governments fuckery. He would have opened a lot of peoples eyes. For that reason, I truly believe that people in high places, labeled him a threat. Hip Hop just lost a true legend. Rest In Power Prodigy.

Got to see them perform in fayetteville NC for the Infamy Album.. after the show went to the Waffle House P came in and sat right next to me, dolo.. like it was nuttin on some humble shit.. Prodigy said in a podcast (RapRadar) that Havoc was always the illest to him. From his raps to his style, he was just ill. He admired Havoc. Prodigy was a real dude, man. He gave respect where it was due. Rest in power, Prodigy. Prodigy is a top 5 rapper to me. Havoc production + Prodigy Lyricism = Perfection.
man, 94' 95' was the illest!! I'm 41, so you know I grew up listening to the Infamous. And it's hard not to compare hip hop now to what it was back then. I miss it, word up! 1/2 of one of greatest duos in hip hop ever is gone, and he'll be missed, man! 😢
That's one of my favorite verses too. Hurts remembering it this way. We'll never forget you though. When they talk about what this generations gonna be playing in the future telling the grandkids "whatchu know about this" you're right up on the top of the list.
