To all the people critiquing them for singing in Korean - the whole point of Produce48 is to promote in both Korea and Japan, and the Korean trainees need to learn Japanese, too. So I don't understand all the hatred. I honestly see it as a gesture of love to sing a song from another country and try hard to do well!
They can but it’s more impressive if they can at least do korean even if it isn’t perfect. As long as their korean didn’t sound like mumble then it’s a great boost of public views and judge grades.
@@kiwi9660 I think they're referring to when South Korea was controlled by Japan (?) something like that. It always seems like the two countries are on edge with each other and thats why its not easy for a Korean group or artist to break into the Japanese market.
I'm proud that they tried their hand at Korean. It's good for them to learn 😊. But if they wanted to get a REALLY good grade they should have sung the Japanese ver. to really show off their singing ability.
There not japanese trainees they are already artist from japan called AKB48 and they are separated into groups. THEY ARE REALLY POPULAR IN JAPAN. PRODUCE 101 + AKB48 = PRODUCE48
Like JYP mentioned YG has its own style which no one can nail and that is why he says it is a wrong move to choose YG songs on auditions. Well, at least you tried.

문화 차이라고 포장해봤자 무대 많이 선 애들인데 (지들 말로는 성장하는컨셉인 거니 -> 얘들은 성장한 애들에 속하는 부류일 텐데) 그런 애들이 이 정도면... 그 밑에 있는 애들은 일반인 수준도 안 된다는 걸 증명하는 꼴일 뿐... 이건 문화차이란 말로 포장할 수 없는 거. 학예회 구경하려는 관객이 아니라면 (가수의 무대를 보러 온 사람들을 대상으로) 이들은 무대에 올라서는 안 되는 애들임. 수준 이하의 실력으로 가수들 무대에 서는 건 노력해서 그 무대에 오르는 가수들에게 실례가 되는 일임.
I don’t like their singing style like they break up the words and make it sound so bland and stiff instead of just letting the vocals come out fluidly. They really need training tbh
Yandere kpopper they are akb48. i know they are already debut, but the culture in korean and japan is really different. japan usually don't give a training to their artist. the artist learn dance vocal etc by themself, there is nobody can teach them. even for the basic. but in korea, you are get training from the basic. so yeah, i have to say they need training too
