MADE is an immaculate no skip album. Fun fact: They released two songs at a time over a period of 1-1.5 years and each time they competed with one another for #1 and 2. Their music is made especialy for them by them or people who know them since before debut . Is their music and they know all their strong points . They don’t fit to a specific genre. You should check out the rest of the Made Album and you can see different each song is. After Made, you can check their alive album. They don’t even fit to “kpop” mould, they are an artist group. As you explore Bigbang more, you’ll understand why they are dubbed as the Kings Kpop. They are also kings of live performances. Their stage presence is so intense that there is no need for choreography. They’ve been around the industry for 16 years. They dont release somg every year as they believe in quality over quantity and this is why their comeback is always highly anticipated. Still Life didn’t have promotion but still achieved perfect all kill, topping rvery music charts in Korea and even itunes. They also made it to billboard top 200.

If you want to get to know them better, each of them has a solo career as well as subunits. G-Dragon was the first one shown; he does most of the writing as well as production and has really good solo songs like "Untitled 2014," "One of a Kind," and "Crayon." TOP is the one with the deep voice, and he writes most of the songs with G-Dragon; he has "Doom Dada" and "Turn It Up," but he and G-Dragon teamed up as GD&TOP and had some good songs like "Don't Go Home" and "Baby Goodnight." Taeyang was the second one shown, and he has solo songs with "Eyes, Nose, Lips" and "Ringa Linga," and he and G-Dragon teamed up for "Good Boy." Daesung was the third one featured but most of his solos are in Japanese and are really short and under the name D-LITE and he has "Look at Me Gwisun" and "D-Day." Seungri was the third one shown but the second to sing, and he left the band in 2017, "Still Life" was their only release without him; he has "1, 2, 3!" and "Where R U From" as well as "Let's Talk About Love" which features G-Dragon and Taeyang.

It's hard to articulate to newcomers what these guys mean to their fans especially to Koreans born before the 2000s. These days kpop has diversified fandoms for an unlimited number of groups with BTS currently owning the biggest slice of the pie but back then there weren't AS many and these guys pretty much dominated the entirety of South Korea from almost all age brackets which was interesting cos older Koreans usually weren't interested in pop as well as quite a lot from their neighbouring countries. Like these guys were and still ARE kpop for me. The guy with the unique whiny voice was the leader GDragon and this guy is like the Michael Jackson of Korea. Every artist looks up to him.

WHY THEY'RE CALLED KINGS 1. They're still running in the KPOP industry for 17 years and now. So many scandals yet they're still standing on the stage. Performing. Hitting #1s on korean music streams without promotion or music videos published. 2. They're one of the KPOP groups who go international first. They spread the Hallyu wave all over the world. It's even impressive because internet is not really popular before, but that didn't stop them for being a star. Times, Grammy's, KCA, MTV, Billboards, etc. 3. BIGBANG helped introduce EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and Rap. Before, it was mainly R&B, Ballad, and Pop. 4. They broke the stereotypes. Before BIGBANG, every idols in a boy group were seen as robotic, flower/ boy style and with synchronized dancing and singing. 5. Idols were never considered as artists before with lyricism and production. They even influenced kpop artists of today to compose their own. 6. They're the celebrity of celebrities. Most people adore and are a fan of them. KPOP groups, actors, politicians etc. Mostly from KPOP industry. They're inspired and influenced by them. 7. The SONGS. BIGBANG doesn't create just create catchy songs, Some songs, the lyricism is so magnificent. They're meaningful and filled with emotions you want to feel. 8. Their stage presence. No one can beat their stage presence. The stage is powerful once they're performing. Every performance are eye catching. No lipsync reguired. All songs live. 9. BIGBANG saved Y Entertainment. YG Entertainment before BIGBANG is just a small company. But BIGBANG were struggling for food to eat because they don't have enough money and Dragon composes a song every night. But all the hardships are worth it. 10. Most fans don't idolized them because of looks, just pure talent. They were even called the "ugliest KPOP boy group" back in the days they were debuted. But people don't care for it, because the talent wins. 11. They're the first to use lightstick. Well before it was called "glowstick". Before it was just balloons and color to identify kpop groups. 12. They popularized EPs or Mini Albums. It started when they drop their album "Always" and with the hit song "Lies". That's why they're unbeatable. We can say, they're so many KPOP groups who are popular these days, but BIGBANG are untouchable. No one can imitate or copy beside themselves. If you wanna know who BIGBANG really are, you’ll need to go wayy back to 2006. They’ve been producing their music and writing their own lyrcis since their debut in ‘06. Each member also have successful solo career.

Not sure if its been explained but this song was written as a farewell to their fans, VIP because the oldest member, TOP(white hair deep voice) had to enlist in the korean military so the group had to go on hiatus as the rest followed soon after. GD is the one who opens the song with black hair and spends most the video up on the crane looking thing also he is the one hugging and dancing with the girl in the MV, the girl represents VIP and Ji's fear that VIP will forget and leave them during their long hiatus. Seungri is the one who was infront of what looked like a station of some kind with the word Departure. Daesung was infront of the Theatre and Taeyang is in the room with the kids, the kids representing BIGBANG's youth. You notice the camera rotates clockwise throughout the MV representing that time is gonna pass on even when they arent there. The song expresses their sadness that they have to leave for awhile, their fears about what will happen during that time and their hopes for when their service ends and they can return. During TOP's rap at the end the cheers in the background is VIP. TOP is very emotional person and cries easily this was hard for all of them but i think it hit him a bit harder since he had to leave first.

The second singer is Seungri and he left the group in 2019 due to controversies ourside of the group. I suggest you next watch Bang, Bang, Bang - this is a banger song and will show you their diversity. But they have so much good music. Even Lies and Haru Haru from 20087 and 2008 when they were just starting out.
