They have an entire live album of their Meet You There tour. It really shows how great they are live and how they change their songs to fit a live situation
@@kai_yue probably not, I haven't heard it yet, but their 'live from the vault' performances are almost always better, they have more musical freedom and have fun with it
My favourite part of that song is the break down. When it stops and then Ashton comes in on drums following Calum’s bass with his toms and bass drum. It gives a like hardcore punk sound with how heavy his bass drum sounds. As well as how michaels guitar brings a heavier aspect into the song on the second half of the choruses.
7:50 LOL you got it right😂They're basically a mixture of rock bands. They've been a fan of rock bands before they started creating their own music, so they were influenced greatly. They started covering their songs first and uploading it on youtube before they became big.

Please react to Babylon or Jet Black Heart from their previous 2 albums. Both songs' main vocals are the bassist and the rhythm guitarist respectively. Also their Live Lounge cover of Alice Merton's No Roots where the drummer's vocals is showcased. They're a bunch of talented dudes with emo punk/pop roots (evident in their 1st 2-3 albums/EP's) and have experimented quite a bit in their most recent 2 albums.
As someone who has been a fan for year and years, they blow me away on stage and are 100% better live than in studio version and they get better and better every time I see them. They are at their prime live so it makes me happy seeing you react to their live versions

If you get a chance to catch a show, they are fantastic live! I am 46 years old and took my daughters to see them for their first concerts and they quickly became my favorite band. Love them! My now 13 year old became a fan when she was 7...they are still her #1

You mention the "AH"/whisper on the snare here, which makes me WISH you had filmed a reaction to the studio version of this as well, because they made it with ~no snare! In Luke's words: "I love that song. It has that driving kick and that bass; we tried to make a song without having a snare. It has a few in it, but it’s mainly kick and it’s my breath doing all of the other beats. Tom Morello plays the guitar solo at the end. He’s almost imitating a snare with his guitar."
