When I saw "Toby Fox" I already knew it will be a banger, and it is such a banger song! :D Toby Fox has an unique style of composing, where we first hear the main melody alone and then it builds on that melody, like Megalovania, Hopes and Dreams etc (you can hum every main chorus of each Undertale song just by first measures). Also some trivia: You can see many motive of Marine's "I'm your Treasure Box", eg. you can hear the melody at 3:42, 3:53 (with lyrics) and 5:58 (with lyrics). At 5:14 you get a glimpse what's inside the treasure box. There is a skeleton in a specific position. If you compare it with the last frames of Marine's I'm your Treasure Box, the skeleton is in the exact same posture as Marine inside the treasure box! You can interpret it as a soulmate, Marine from another dimension or maybe from the past/future? But both songs have a connection with each other, visually and by the music.
The living Marine's eyes' colors are the wrong way around. The ghost's are the right way. This song is a sequel to "I'm your Treasure Box". It's the future where no one opened the chest.
According to Marines synopsis its Senchou meeting her version of herself in which the Trassure box from the MV "Open my Treassure Box" wasnt opened. Basicaly the Marine in that Timeline became a Begrudging Wraith of version of her own Ship. Listen to the part were the two Marines are about to Hug, youll hesr the tone from the Open my treassure box MV.
Well it's actually linked, These two song also have 2 same person on it... Toby fox the legend behind UNDERTALE, Camellia the master of Vocaloid, they also the one who make "i'm your treasure box" marine 4th original song, and now in this "Dead Ma'am chest" Camellia even say "We both work again for her (Marine)".
@@narukamiyuu9698 try to watch the I'm your Treassure box again and you'll see what's actually happening with her when she puts herself in the box. You'll see how it's full of teasing and promise of Sexy time at first but things are actually serious because of how the literal inside of the box is dark and she will eventually Die in there. But alas the box wasn't opened and it leads to her becoming a Wraith.
During the flashes with the chest you can see that inside were her bones, and that she starved inside. With the themes about greed being the end of you you can surmise the chest or the treasure in it is cursed since it turned into a golden dragon at the end. Also the Eyes of the ghost and pirate Marine are inverted, ironically the pirate being the mirrored one.
After rewatching the I'm your Treasure box MV It felt really different lol. In this Dead ma'ams Chest MV it showed how she teased her crew that she will put herself in the box and whoever is gonna open it will be rewarded with "Unimaginable Treassure aka Herself and of course sexy time" in which the crew probably thought "Sure Captain lol" so then she put herself inside waiting for that someone. Something definitely must have happen to her crew for them to not been able to open it. If you look at the MV now her playfulness and teasing may be funny but in reality she is in serious trouble and is actually asking someone to let her out cuz...you know it's dark in there and she is literally Dying. Man....how can an MV change the atmosphere of another lol. Masterful story telling
