EXO always trying new genre and styles for every comeback. There will be some title tracks that you like and dislike. You need to listen to the whole album. EXO have alot of gems in their bsides songs. Give them a chance and listen to the whole album. They never disappoint.

actually, chanyeol produced most of this new album's songs (which is new for us as well since he has been asking sm to produce something for a long time and i guess producing we young made them realize that fans like when he takes over the production side as well), he also writes and produces his own solo songs for soundcloud, yixing always produces his solo songs and writes them, jongdae composes with other artists and sometimes writes some exo's songs (lights out from universe and she's dreaming from ex'act)

One thing I learnt about EXO is that they don't always give us what we want but they teach us how to love music of different genres instead. That's crazy. I used to love rock and metal but now I love r n b, ballads, reggae, and a Capella as well! Also the visuals, dances, and performances. EXO everyone. 👏

also, exo has some of the best concerts! like that party time thingy in Exolyxion is still one of my faves ever. some of the stages in EXOrdium were just so artistic and the last tour elyxion was wow. If you are bored some day then I recommend to watch some EXO concert DVDs (in japan... never Seoul. Always watch JAPAN DVDs)

well, this video was actually meant to be in the "SM's Box" because Exo has this thing called the Red Force in their concept which is what they're trying to defeat(if I'm not mistaken?) and this time, they got luread back into the Red cube that they escaped during Overdose. Exo actually has a really crazily well-thought concept and storyline so I think knowing it changes your perspective on their videos.

EXO is literally one of the few kpop groups whose entire discography doesn’t disappoint. All the songs are unique and none of them sound similar to each other even within the same album. Many groups pick a concept and genre and have an entire album sounding similar but EXO is different. All their B sides are amazing and unique so listeners never get bored. Title tracks definitely do not completely embody EXO’s style and sound. The b sides could all have the potential to be title tracks themselves. That’s how good all the songs are. I think EXO could be like Red Velvet. I also love how EXO strongly resists western edm muscial formulas and stick to their own sound

This song reminds me a lot of 90s stuff and it's kinda Michael Jackson-esque, I love this whole album, all of the songs are different, as you said, every company specialize at something else and that's why they are unique, I love all of them because of the different styles and aspects, YG specialize mostly at the self-production, hip-hop, underground kinda stuff and that's why they are unique, they have their own style (YG swag style) and they don't really care about performances that much, I mean from the technical precise point of view, they just make legendary hype fun performances and allow their artist musical freedom, JYP is something between YG and SM, I'd say they specialize at what's trendy, they make modern music styles and follow the trends, they allow their artists to produce their own music, but for the title tracks it's mostly JYP's work and SM just want to make their artists legends, they have high-quality almost impossible to make training and they don't really like to allow their artists musical freedom, one exception is Jonghyun, but he's a genius, so they had to thought he's that good to allow him to make his own music, I'd say they are starting to be more opened and actually excepting some of the artists' music now, EXO has just a very few self-produced songs released on the actual albums, it's mostly Chanyeol's or Lay's work, but even Baekhyun and Chen have their songs released. AND YES YOU ARE MISSING SO MUCH PD!! YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THEIR LIVE STUFF! I've seen countless concerts, performances, shows, and such things and I can say that the best performances I've ever seen are from SM artists, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Nirvana, and Queen. Of course, it depends on what you like, but I'm a really emotional person, music is my life and from my point of view, these performances are just breath-taking. It's rumored that the Chinese version will be a continuation of the Korean one (and yes, Lay is part of the Chinese version only) and that is where the outdoor scenes showed in the teasers come from, it's like a part 2 of the MV, I think that the last scene was Lay delivering the cube to the red cube and it has something to do with Namanana and the puzzle game, Idk, we'll see tomorrow lol Btw. China actually doesn't really care about youtube, I've never seen a Chinese music video get banned from youtube cause they don't have access to youtube, it's completely under SM's influence and SM don't really ban reaction either

It's true that this is a typical box MV setting, more so because it is linked to EXO's concept they have going on since debut with the red force being a red cube (the maze they tried to escape from in overdose) which they entered in this comeback again. That one at the end with the cube is Baekhyun. Chanyeol eyes are very cool, Sehun having more lines is cool. Harmonization is very beautiful here. I listened the album and it sounds good, is very different from the old music reminds me of 90's, very interesting combination electro vibe, r&b, pop, acapella and rap but unique sound for each song.

This is a song that will grow on me. I appreciate Sehun’s and Chanyeol’s parts and the vocal harmonies at the end. I like the whole album, to me it’s very dancy and RnB, so it is very listenable in the long term.

Guys the video has SO much more meaning than you see at first glance, there are not only hidden references to legends like Michael jackson or daftpunk, but literally every scene hides a symbolic reference to exos main concept. EVERYTHING exo does is connected to one main story, its sooo cool! Just wanted to note that, in case anyones curious :)

I just want to add in to your observation that they flash in the red lights often, it’s because this is consistent with their concept of being trapped into the cube (refer to Overdose MV) by the red force. So yeah I think those lights are a representation of that evil red force that still has them. Then again my comment would only probably make sense if one is an EXOL. Anyways this is a good reaction video. Please do a review on the whole Don’t Mess Up My Tempo album as well in the future 😊👌👍
