yeah dreampop, or shoegazer, often has vocals mixed this way. Lush and My Bloody Valentine did this a ton.

It is intentional, it's meant to sound dreamy I think. ReactToTheK put it in a good way, it's like you're missing the main vocal and what you're hearing is the background vocal. It's cool

This song was heavily influenced by the music of Canadian producer/singer Grimes, Grimes uses the exact same vocal filters in some of her songs. Listen to the song Kill V. Maim then listen to LOONATIC, I think you'll see what I mean!

Yep, they are sticking to dream-pop genre's less prominent vocals in the mix, creating a more diffused, dreamy sound that's got more reverb/echo than typical vocal mixes.

Unpopular opinion: This is my favorite Loona song! It's just so different from most other K-pop songs to me. You're right, this is the song I use when I'm boosting down a freeway or when I'm doing my Initial D thing on the mountains near where I live. Thanks for reacting to it!

Avery I'm pretty sure early june they announced a period of joining what I believe is a loona fan cafe, and after the period they allocated for pre-memebership, they would tell us our fandom name and colour

Actually, the english version is quite different for me, i think the korean version is way better, in the lyrics, mixing and vocals too, it fits them more. But I love this song with all my heart, is my second favorite from Loona, after Sweet Crazy Love

For me it's the cutest BTS ever (BTS = behind the scenes). My favorite scene is in 1:30 of your video when Jinsoul forgot that she is taller than the room (ya sometimes I'm savage and a bad boy - not really). On the albums exists both versions (English and Korean). If have "only" the Korean non-limited version. I'm looking forward for the last 4 girls. I can't remember how you reacted to them during the life stream. I was too tired (maybe 7am for me).

Honestly.. I love your reviews. They’re balanced, “factual” (as factual as you can get in music... music is very subjective... production value ain’t though) and optimistic. I personally loved that the instrumentals overpowered the vocals. Adds to the crazy/lunatic theme of the song. It makes me nostalgic for the past and hopeful for the future. Love this song. :)

In case you didn’t know this is actually a remix/bonus version! The original version of loonatic is in Korean and the mixing is wayyyyy better. Same effects and like grimes-esc sound but it’s just overall a higher audio quality. Idk how they botched the English version so bad
