In fact, at the beginning of a race you shoot a gun to warn competitors that they have to start running. In this case the race rappresent your life, and saying that you missed the gun It means like you haven't already reach your goals, that your life has started but you haven't lived It in the right way. It's like the race has started but you are still at the starting line, wondering what you are supposed to do, but without moving. You see everybody in front of you running but you don't know Who you are or what you want to do with your life. At least, this Is what this Song means to me
This song makes me feel like I'm the main character of everything. Jokes aside, it's like one of this song from tik tok where people doing compilations of them crying, laughing, dancing in the rain, running through the flower field and mountains and hugging their friends, you know what I mean? I feel like the visualizer matched the song really well in the sense that it felt free. It felt like Luke was freeing himself and you could feel the freedom of the music even more while watching the visualizer (if that makes sense and this doesn't mean i think like felt trapped in 5sos I think he feels free to show his creative side)
When I've listened to this song for the first time, I was really struggling to hold back my tears. The lyrics just hit me so hard, it's so deep and meaningful, even talking about it gives me goosebumps 😩🤍 I can still remember how shy he was and now look at him, I'm incredibly proud of him and honestly can't wait for what he has in store for us!! 🤍
