G22 is honestly superior. They're literally the whole package. They just really need more consistent promotion (like with other ppop groups). I hope they will be more well-known in the near future.

That's true I also think the Filipino language is versatile because it is more forgiving on enunciation & articulation, the words can still be understood as long as you pronounce the vowels correctly. Unlike other neighboring countries like Vietnam, Thailand the words can easily change/lose its meaning if you don't use the correct articulators, and correct intonation. That's just my observation from living in Thailand & Vietnam

True. Well, back in the day when people were using baybayin, there were only 3 vowels a, i/e, o/u. Kaya siguro ang dali lang kahit ngayon saten mag interchange ng vowel sounds. Hindi/hinde, naten/natin, video/vedio. LMAO.

aside from the tropical air, one factor is the language , Filipino as our national language is composed basically of Tagalog, Bisaya, Spanish and English, thus comes the versatile in terms of tongue muscle memory - plus Tagalog as other OPERA singers would describe as a dream language of singer, because of the vowel placement not to mentioned that we are use to sing sitting down, thus controlling air from the diaphragm to the lungs

Wondering if you’d like to listen to Burnout (lyrics in tagalog) by 3D (Danao, Dancel, Dumas) It’s their surnames. Originally it’s by the band Sugarfree but they disbanded, the vocalist collaborated with another 2 solo artists (who sing and play guitar). So in the wish bus, the 3 of them are playing the guitar and singing. They are not a group like PPop groups who practice a lot together, but they are og artists (and I haven’t seen reactors react to this, so it’s not popular anong reactors but it’s really good). I hope you could consider it.

These ladies are greatly talented, beautiful, charming and cultivated. They are classy yet relatable. I think the Filipino audience is very discerning of vocal talents. We appreciate good dancers, but great vocals is more stirring for us. We are thus highly impressed when artists have both talents. I also think that while many are also followers of foreign pops, we prefer our own Filipino artists to be not fabricated so much as business products. We value filipino artists who remain authentic to themselves, to their own creativity. That's why SB19 is adored because they project their own artistry, composing their own songs, doing their own choreography, directing and producing their MVs and concerts. Ben and Ben is another such highly respected filipino artists. And so is KZ Tandingan who you've mentioned in this video. You'll discover many more outstanding talents when you visit us. And yes, Lucas, you're prediction could be right. They will invite you to jam with them because it's cultural and it's the best way to establish rapport. And also you being in the music business, it could also be their way of measuring up your craft level. But seeing Josh's confidence, I'm sure you'll pass with flying colors! By the way If you love harmony you should listen to 4th impact, the queens of harmony.

Thanks for reacting to our artists, they are singing in Tagalog, our national language, rooted in Bahasa the mother language of the Malay race that encompasses Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and the Philippines (might have missed some countries) Tagalog is the softest and diverse maybe because of our long colonisation by Spain. I am from the Visayas and speak Hiligaynon a dialect, morrisette is from Cebu also in the Visayas that speaks Bisaya. Many of the singers you react to are from different islands in our country. Their audition video, Bang Bang, had one of the show's most views on youtube. Check out their covers - Never Enough, Love the Way You Lie, I'll Be There. The sound of Tagalog is extremely rhythmic and incredibly dynamic so it can hit hard and melodic at the same time. I hope you get to work with some Filipino artists in the future. PPop is definitely something to watch out for.

honestly,Babalik reminds me of the OPM ballads from long time ago that was sung by Filipino alto singers which is a bit sensual and also cringey for awhile. But I was very amazed how G22 did it. It must be the harmonies or something contemporary to it that sounds not cringey and beautiful at all. Like what Lucas said. The language sounds beautiful with this song.

Philippine Language is Filipino or Tagalog ( they are the same). Also, Filipino can be used for the people as well. The language, Filipino, is very syllabical, that makes almost all Filipinos to adapt easily to speak other languages. However, Philippines is composed if several islands = several provinces = several dialects, there are dialects that sometimes they will pronounce tagalog or english in an accent, but since Filipinos love to watch TV and listen to music a lot plus the fact that our mode of education in school from prep, kindergarted, elementary, high school to college, is in english, the pronunciation is improved🤗
