Borahae! I am a singer/songwriter/producer that rediscovered my passion for music during the pandemic after hearing BTS. A wild musical journey ensued that reunited 2 childhood friends (me & Lucas). I've seen the early days of Michael, when he was just a small artist who sang and won a composition song competition called "Pare Mahal Mo raw ako" (2014), it went viral back then coz the song was so emotional (melodically speaking) but the lyrics was kind a comedic in a sense 😊, he got my attention since then. I heard him live when he was invited to sing at our fiesta and he is really good. I hope that one day, he will be known internationally coz he got what it takes.

with all honesty, Philippines is probably one of the first countries that plays latest English lyrics music/songs that comes out on the market. Majority of the people prefers and loves to hear mellow music..

Michael's genre apparently is RnB, along with JayR, Kyla, Chris Lawrence (RnB seniors). He is basically more intro runs and riffs. He turns any songs into a RnB arrangement leading to reminds us of Brian McKnight.

I watch lots of reactions on Wishbus and many many people mimic the Wishbus tag. I find it neat and complimentary to Wishbus. It’s like a catch phrase, so carry on. You guys are great! Try Michael’s Lay me down cover. Performed during his earlier ears and made me an instant fan!!!

Yes, pursuit of greatness in music is ingrained in our culture. Filipinos are very critical in what they hear / watch esp in live performances. As what the older generation taught us, they'd rather listen to the orig recording than watch it live copying the orig as is. That's why most of live perfs shows the artist's diff take on it even if it's their orig. 😊 Hope you both find time to react to khel and bugoy jamming in MML channel: i aint got you. CONTINUE ON WITH WHAT YOU'RE DOING. Your channel is different from the rest. You talk from the point of view of a producer. While other coaches talk about the vocal technicalities they learned in school, they have similarities as they learned them in school. Yours is different it is about the concept of the song and its similarities from music way back in different eras, a combination of genres. I heard you talk about the mixing techniques, the sound of the guitars, the DIs, the effects, the compression, the reverbs & how it is used in a song, and the different styles of different singers. You mix it with funny antics on each other, so there you are, your channel is different. I am an enthusiast in recording technicalities & a musician and I can understand your language. So keep on as I am also learning from you. Forget about crazy disrespectful comments on you from non-musicians and yet they keep tuning on your channel.
