As I can size her as a performer she's not after the money being paid to her as an artist but 💯% she loves her passion as a singer/vocalist as you can observed at one point she acts a comedy part of her with a full smile and that sets her apart from at her artist. As a pilipio like her follower of her for more than 10 years now she's the MOST humble down to earth person I ever observed in my entire life. She was so BLESSED not only her Heavenly Gifted Angelic Voice but everything in her as a GOD FEARiNG CHRISTIAN. That's why she has a huge followers all over the world.

We watched Morisette in her home province of Cebu. She spoken in Cebuano 90% of the time, non-Cebuano speakers be damned. It sounded like she really missed speaking her first language. She was so giggly and funny, like she just came home to her family after being away for years. She was really amazing and charming and endearing.

If I understand you correctly, there is a moment in "Defying Gravity" where she also let's this side of her peak out. Towards the end when she is killing it, and she knows it, she can't help but do her version of a "touchdown dance". She gets this sh*t-eatin' grin on her face and starts this head-banging to let everyone know she knows that she is killing it. It is a joy to behold.

One of the characteristics of Mori is how fearless she is! If you check out her version of the Aerosmith classic Dream On, even her musical director was blown away. He didn't anticipated she'll do that, hit those impossible notes to kingdom come. These are live performances! I used to listen to powerhouses vocalists before, then my bro introduced me to Morissette. So, yeah, she became the singer that everyone will be measured by. She's the GOAT. I dreamed that Mori will sing a version of every song her way.

I think Morissette is a genuinely nice person and naturally humble which may as you say be part cultural. I have no doubt that her strong Christian faith is also a large part of her humility, as Jesus himself was a model of humility and the Bilble teaches us not to think of ourselves more highly than others. That said, Morissette could not possibly be the top artist she is without being supremely confident in her own abilities. Whatever the explanation, I love Morissette just the way she is!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Morissette's squeaks galore were fully showcased in her rendition of the song Naririnig Mo Ba? Chandelier is also one song that showed her belting prowess. All on the Wish Bus. As for her mesmerizing riffs and runs while whistling, Di Mapaliwanag is a must watch.

👀🐍Great comment on her vocal control and stamina. You will likely be more impressed to know that this song was the finale (or encore) of her homecoming concert in Cebu (where she grew up) where she sang/belted out around 20 songs over the roughly 2-hour duration of this show. This was back in 2018. Lucas' perception that Morissette is a nice person is spot on. She has the ability to lose herself into her performance such that it's as if a part of her soul goes out with each one of them. In that regard, one can say she is a true artist of her craft, and that she was born to sing and perform. That is part of her appeal to her fans and observers/reactors: she genuinely enjoys what she is doing, and though it may not necessarily show (because some performances call for a more serious demeanor on her part - she becomes the character of the song), it certainly does evoke the emotions of those watching and listening to her. There were also many instances in the past (pre-Covid) when she would come down from the stage and go into the audience while singing and mingle with them, taking selfies and all that. Then you'd see the security team scrambling around after her to make sure she doesn't get mauled by the fans!🤣I've watched her do that in various videos and actually saw her do it in person when I caught her show (with 2 other Filipino artists) while traveling through the DC area back in 2018.

You have to think this was the last song of over 25, and still with so much power, Jennifer Hudson sang this in DREAM GIRLS which was great, Jennifer reacted to this Video and loved it and said the arrangement was superb, then there is another called LISTEN again from DREAM GIRLS and again out of this World there are a couple of Videos one in red and the other in silver where she talks about her journey and finished big, both fantastic, now about Christina great voice but sometimes she does too much, she forgets less is more. Even, both American legendary, Jennifer Holiday and Jennifer Hudson has knock their head, How! If you have a look at the career graphs of successful Filipino artists and you will find that all of them never rest on their laurels. When they have reached the peak of their careers and achieved the highest honours - they take one more step to improve their performance. Most of them keep pushing their goals to higher levels when they have reached each level of achievement. They never give up their search for perfection. She often takes the ear monitor out, when the song hits the 5th octave, and when she wears a a Ariana tail , is usually extensions. No she doesn't have a kid.....she and hubby Dave are Fur parents to to Beagles , Kahleo and Koa . She will be in concert in Ca. June 2 & 3 ( S.F. area) She is the most humble and unpretentious artist you'll find.

Morisette wow !!! In my opinion vocally she’s perfect she can do everything technically etc..… But their is something missing to be in the spotlight internationally IDK … ? What is it?
