i remember back in 2003, I had a free CD from Dunkin DOnuts, and this song was sung by the Gibbs Family so if you're going to compare the two I'd say SB19 really made a good twist- very sb19

Commercials with full songs started with Knorr. It’s a powdered soup base and the target audience are kids. The commercial has kids singing, encouraging other kids to eat vegetables because it’s good for you. The chorus says: “Makulay ang buhay sa sinabawang gulay.” Which in English translates to “Vegetable soup makes life colorful.” Thiat commercial proved to be effective beacuse everybody is singing it even adults. Other companies then followed this strategy until recent.

I remember this. When I was still a kid NGL I loved it, I kept singing and singing it over and over as a kid. Even though I used to hate veggies back when I was younger😅😂 so yea, I agree that because of this song commercial from knorr full commercial songs here are becoming so popular and prioritized cuz they make good catchy songs that are so fit for the products or foods that they advertise nowadays😌👌 which is also because they easily catch or attract customers attention to buy them😂

Speaking of Pepsi, please watch all the commercials they did with SB19. They have a dance rehearsal video for Sundin ang Puso. One United also have a version since that was promoted all over the world. The boys have many endorsements now with Acer, Samsung, Pizza Hut, to name a few.

🎄 🍩 Merry Munchkin is actually an old DDPh jingle from the 90s that they revived. Personally, it is one of my top 3 ad songs from SB19, along w/ Acer's 'live it up' and the Binibining Pilipinas theme song. Special mention would be their Pepsi one.

🎄🍩 Christmas is a huge thing in the Phils. We start celebrating it as soon as the “ber” months hit. I can imagine this MV ad running for all those months and really making it worth every penny spent for DD. They’re also still the #1 donut chain in the Phils (I believe). To this day DD is still in collaboration with SB19 so I would say it has been a successful marketing move by DD considering that SB19 is only getting more popular. Aww I know how you feel Josh! Ads were much better back in the day. I still remember the catchy jingles and back then we don’t mind them much. Now they’re just annoying (esp in the US). Anyway, I think the SB19/ACER MV ad will also make you nostalgic of the 90s. Great song and MV. Good SB19 vibes as always. ❤ Merry Christmas!!!

Commercials here even make short films like Jollibee. Wish SB19 could make something like that too among the brands they already endorse or maybe a new one, but that Jollibee quality. Since they also have short film before, and they wanted to act too so that’ll be fun.

There are more of this where they create a whole song for brands. Never have I enjoyed listening to adverts. They have 2 more songs for Dunkin, one for Acer, one for Pepsi (incl a dance performance). They used existing SB19 songs and changed the lyrics for Lucky Me, Pizza Hut, Netflix, Lazada.

Anyway, collaboration among artists and companies here in the Philippines are common and I agree that it not only it will market their products better, it also shows that they are capable of working with people outside their organization to promote their brand/company

Hehe...just to share, when the teaser came out that they were going to remake this jingle i was anxious for them to do it and even upset and scared it was going to be awfully cringey (u'll understand once u see/hear the original) but when it came out ..🤯🤩 I couldn't help but play it on repeat afterwards, even on spotify 😂 the song is so cute and just makes me smile everytime i hear it. Thanks for the rv. Agree with the other comments here, these are worth watching: Live it up + Make your green mark (Acer) - Pablo composed. Catchy jingles in english. The One (Dunkin) - Pablo composed parts of, plus of course wrote the lyrics. Cute mv. Sundin ang Puso (Pepsi) - they wrote the lyrics plus added rap parts. It's in tagalog but the dance practice is fun to watch 🙂
