Albion and stuff is crazy expensive so its even crazier they're giving great and diverse stuff of that same quality out free. I mean think about it, you could literally spend over 18,000$ buying their complete collection and yet these are the freebies they give.

@@nof1721 Hey! If you do Option-Click and Drag you can make a copy easily like in the video! You can also copy plugins or just about anything with that!

I've been confused about how to get started with DAWs (I'm an intermediate-level pianist & sort-of-beginner violinist who wants to make music at home too, and before this the only music software I had figured out was Musescore, which does help with midi but yk wanted to expand my skills). This video actually made a lot of things make more sense

I only recently started getting my feet wet with music production. A friend recommended LABS, though I was not impressed at all at first and immediately started looking for stuff like Symphobia, cause I wasn't happy with the sound I was getting. Really glad I found this video, it saved me hundreds of bucks!

I'm a self-taught pianist migrating to film scoring and orchestra production. I can't thank you enough! This video is the only video I found that is both detailed and helpful when teaching others what they can create with nothing. Most videos out there just play the track through with no explanation of which instruments they used, what vibe they were going for and how to piece it all together! Very informative and amazing work!

Nice Nathan, I have recently downloaded LABS from Spitfire, absolutely brilliant and just love what you put together in just under 30 mins, but it was all to fast for me, being new to Logic? Can't wait to get familiar with using Logic as confidently as you so that I can put down what's in my head......... I am a seasoned bassist/vocalist, but have so much to learn, but loving it. Loved your short compo, brilliant as always

They are ridiculously good value for the (no) money! I use them all the time in my work - playing around with the different variations with some of them is fun too. I often myself using the various string ones instead of their more expensive orchestral plugins sometimes because they can sound quite a lot more acoustic (though obviously they are a lot more limiting in terms of the articulations you can use).

I agree 100%! The BBC orchestra is also free if you do their survey (for the time being). And that sounds pretty good. Yeah the loading time helps too compared to bigger ones also.

BBC sympthony orchestra is actually 40 dollars. it's only free if you apply for it and then wait for two weeks which is exactly what I did. i legit forgot I applied for it and I was just checking my email one day and I got a free orchestra lol

Nathan! This track is, to quote you, 'SO DOPE"! I don't know if you've seen the pre/mid/post roll ads on RU-vid recently, this piece reminds me of some of the scores for those "indestructible drones" and "game changing air conditioner" ads, they've been going at the cinematic scores recently. Kinda want to get back into scoring/sound design stuff. There's only so many of those elements you can fit into a single song before it sounds too over the top. Great work!

Love your video and the piece you created. I tried it, but had problems with LABS. Checked and discovered Spitfire doesn't currently work on Mac OS 13. I'll wait. Native Instruments works currently. Subscribed and liked. Thanks for this!! I am adding another question. What are your favorite samples?
