I have been suffering from a mental block on this.
Everything necessary is written, and composed, except the big break. I decided to delete the whole layout and start fresh. This is the beginning of that process, and you'll witness me changing several parameters and writing/editing a particular riff.
As a result of some prior instrument/plugin changes, some automation was not working, so you will also see me re-do these - and make mistakes in the process - but ultimately get things back on track.
Listening to the same loop over and over can get tedious, but that is the nature of music production. If you're seriously interested, you'll be familiar.
Also, note how cool the FL Studio workflow is. Yes, it is a beast of a thing, but I feel it's forever giving, always intuitive, full of surprises, and comes packed with some fantastic native plugins.
