PROS AND CONS BELOW.
Here's a song recorded with my Harley Benton Enhanced MJ 5MN Natural. No one asked me to do this, I just really like the bass. I'm thinking of doing product demos for gear I like on the regular. Too often I go looking for something like this and never find it.
PROS:
*Bass sounds great.
*Bass looks great.
*Very affordable.
*The neck feels really good.
*Active/Passive switch
*The bridge pickup can be switched between humbucker and single-coil mode.
*Hardware is nice.
CONS:
*HEAVY. This is a thicc boi. If you spend a lot of time gigging or play generally long sets, this thing might send you to the chiropractor.
*There were a couple small QC issues out of the box. The string-through routing had some visible sawdust (I personally would rather not see the bridge routing at all), and there were some thin friction burns around the bridge pickup routing. Honestly, though, I've seen worse QC on a $2K Gibson.
Overall, I'm very happy with this bass. It's a welcome addition to the family. Oh, and if you order one and you're in the States, use the UPS option or you'll be waiting months for it.
