Can the neumi save the preset to autolaunch videos when setup with the motion sensor is activated right after booting the device without the need to enter the menus ?
Hi Keoni. Have you figured out the motion sensor yet? I bought a trigger that I guess needs a 12v power supply, but the Neumi user guide says you also need a relay. I’m lost
What kind of trigger are you using? I'm finding the Neumi needs 0V to get triggered so you need a motion sensor that acts as a simple switch. The ones I get from Fright Props or Purgatory Props have 4 wires. Black and red are the power supply for the motion sensor and needs 12 V. Green and white are the switch that get connected together when the motion detector is activated, so I connect green to the L on the trigger plug and white to the ground. Check the instructions that came with your motion sensor and it'll tell you how to wire it. Feel free to send me a direct message on Facebook or Instagram if you need more help. @@PhillyEaglesFan66 Got it. If you wire that directly it'll fry the media player. Are you based in the UK (curious about the 220V)? You can use a relay to trigger the player with that motion detector. A relay is just a switch with a magnet. When power is applied to the relay (from your motion detector) the switch closes for a different set of contacts. These secondary contacts are what you would wire to the L and G ports on the media player. Man, this is too complicated! :(. I appreciate your help tho! First, I’m in the US. After I typed the 220v message I had the same thought and checked. It was just the poor instructions (on side of box). It accepts 110-220v. Still need the relay though. That was where I started searching and ended up here :).
