I think Furquan’s critique is one of the best I’ve ever heard. His deep understanding of product and subtle sensation as a designer all inspired me on how to critique a product organically. Thank for sharing!
I agree that trying to find a specific podcast to listen to is a little tricky. Occasionally I find my self clicking / tapping around until I remember where to find them.
I am wondering while being asked about any product, what if I am not aware of that product? Or I am aware but I have not used that product much to go too deep into it to critisize or to find improvements??
For the lyrics section Musixmatch is used, which relies a lot on volunteer curators to write lyrics and sync them (especially for less popular artists). IMO the lyrics should be only displayed if they are up to standard otherwise it's a poorer experience than having them static or not there at all. Great video.
Is it typical in product critique interviews to pull up the product and go through it? Would this question only be asked in a Spotify interview, or could it be asked in a different company’s interview?
